Although I do not like his music, I have a real respect for this man. I think he is genuine in his rage and his hate is also I believe, real. I have seen many Performance Art shows and most of them dont touch this with a ten foot pole. People reading crap to music and having some freaky dancer in the backround. I leave those shows empty..... after watching this I always have lots of emotions running through my head.

@marcusdolby1 Truly? I am not saying you are wrong but my opinion (and nothing more) is that Allin was very much like a child in that he acted out to get attention. He sought it and probably had very few ways (talents) by which to get it.
Neglecting pain I agree is "real" enough but some people have a high tolerance and lots of chemicals can keep pain at bay.
Clearly it is fascinating..but I wouldn't liken this to performance art.. more like watching a child bang his head to get his way.

@bluemonk611 Hey I understand what your talking about. But I take 2 things into cosideration when comparing this to performance art. 1. Like most things that you dont see people doing everyday, its not easy to do what hes doing in this video. If it was easy, then there would be more GGs. 2. Good Performance art leaves me full of emotions. I have seen people pose for 3 hours, naked, reading a book and they called it performance art. Then people tell them it was great. This is better for me.

Thank you for being honest, we all know his music isn't for everyone, but the fact that you recognized his mentality was real, means a lot. He wasn't a junkie, that's why he O.D.'d (he didn't have a high tolerance for herion). But all that being said, he is the true rock-n-roll animal and I really miss him.

And his work with Antiseen is really good. I find the more I get to know GG, the more he facinates me. Maybee you can help me to get to know his work even better?
