  • I absolutely adore the white knight. He is correct, hair only falls when it is facing downwards.

  • one of my favorite scenes in this version. :-)

  • I always love the dancing scene between the white knight and Alice. It's soo sweet!

  • i agree he's the only one there was nice and sweet and kind in this movie. i can remember being with my grandfather and sureing a bond with him this part made me cry. because in the end i did not want to let him go. and in this movie he left and he die for alice.

  • The white knight was definatly in the tim burton one. He was holding the vorpal sword when the jabberwocky attacked in the mad hatters flashback scene. Before he was destroyed that is.

  • The knight part was always my favorite as a child. :) I wanted to dance with him!

  • Such a classic movie the dancing scene made me cry. it reminded me of when me and my Father danced when i was a little girl

  • RIP all the wonderful actors and actresses that starred in this and have passed.

  • I <3 Lloyd Bridges. I must concur with those who say he reminds them of their grandfather.

  • it seems like the white knight was the only one with a bit of sence, everyone else was mental

  • I love how the Alice in Wonderland is based around cards while Through The Looking Glass is based around a chess set.

  • Hate to state this fact but Carol was a pedophile, the true Alice the one the book is based on was Carols child love intrest

  • @jolynematrix not true. Wikipedia - "In later life, many of those he described as "child-friends" were girls in their late teens and even twenties. She argues that suggestions of pedophilia evolved only many years after his death, when his well-meaning family had suppressed all evidence of his relationships with women in an effort to preserve his reputation, thus giving a false impression of a man interested only in little girls."

  • @Marlee616263 sorry to correct you, but I dont like my childhood memories tarnished lol

  • @jolynematrix Oh, God, what BS. I'm pretty sure if you put a fully grown man or woman instead of Alice it would make no sense. He wanted to do something nice for a family friend. I have many friends who are little (I'm 18) but I'm not a pedohpile!

  • the hwite knight always reminded me of my father, ever as a child, and even more so now he is an old man. he is my favourite character of all time, and he holds a very special place in my heart. he is ment to be a charcterisation of carol himself :)

  • How does she know that was for another house of chess?!

  • 9:04 - For a split second, I thought that the crown she's wearing was a piece of clipart edited over her head. *lol*

  • Favorite part of it all. I always loved this scene, even when I first saw this at 5!

  • RIP Lloyd Bridges 1913-1998

  • The dance with the knight and Alice.

Reminds us all of of dancing with our grandfather as a little girl :D

  • @MuSiCaLChIcK23 for me, my great-grandfather. This scene makes me miss him very much. :)

  • So cute :)

  • aww the part with the white knight is so cute..

  • the horse rearing was cool

  • This part always makes me teary. It's like a dance with one's grandfather. And when she sighs at the end... aww! So sweet!
