Frieza was having fun but even after he realized that he might actually die he still kept talking shit rather than kill Goku. Raditz, too. Cell, however, I agree. He was looking for that challenge but even he talked so much shit that it ended up fucking him over in the end. Buu, well, it's hard to talk with a mouth full of chocolate.There was always more dialogue than action.

@SchizophrenicSamurai Of course I've seen it. Freeza did try to kill Goku, but his attack had no effect. He tried to blow the planet up but had to hold back because he might have been killed as well. Then he flat out couldn't kill Goku because he was outmatched, but he still damn well tried. The villains who weren't the main saga villain monologued all the time though, I'll give you that.

Hell, after goku's Spirit Bomb he could have aimed his attack at Goku rather than Krillin which would have resulted in the death of the weakened Goku as he would not have had the emotional strength to transform. Take Cell for instance. He actually revealed HOW to kill him by explaining the nucleus in his head. How stupid is that!? Hahaha

I'm not sure you understand how arrogant Freeza was, and how much he wanted to savour every last painful breath of the last living saiyan, because Goku had just nearly killed him with the Spirit Bomb, after he'd spent pretty much his entire life being untouchable, he wanted to take everything away from Goku.

That was stupid of Cell, but Gohan's Kamehameha would have killed him anyway.

In my opinion Goku showed more martial arts and better attacks in Dragonball than DBZ. This is a great example, not continuous punches and mega powered kicks that always send you crashing into rocks but actual style and unique moves.^^
