This motors are standard dc motors taken from cd-rom drives. If you use them with a low voltage and only in sweet whater the only problem you are gonna have is that it will rust after a while. you could also take the brushless motor that spins the CD. it is much more resistent in whater and you should not have problems with sparkles. the problem is that you have to find a driver or build your own in orther to power it.
