Hm... I've been watching this LP from the first set... and I've noticed that Rebellion seems to have been a bit more creative with this game than the newest one... Aliens vs. Predator. At the same time though, the new one probably has a more balanced Melee combat system... even if it's really basic..

About what Helloween was talking about at around 1:30 the Aliens don't really have any individuality (like preference for e.g.) amongst them at all.

They are exactly like ants in which they live only to benefit their queen and nothing else matters.

Yes, but it's also demonstrated that they have intelligence (cutting the power in Aliens, following the finger of the guy in the opening cinematic of the new AvP game etc.,). Intelligence is separate from individuality.

So I'd say that while the Aliens have no real free will or ideas of individuality, they probably are aware of what they're doing and likely (since from the Queen's perspective this would be beneficial) enjoy it. Particularly since they kill without needing to feed or defend.

WHAT?! Why is the Predator's wrist-bomb so damn pathetic? I mean, going by either " Predator " or AVP's (the movie I mean) tech., they both made some pretty damn big explosions. This ones, though, is just laughable.

Oh, and about the six weeks it took the Alien to get there, it told you in the beginning that the Alien arrived five or so weeks prior to Frosty's campaign. But then, how'd they reproduce without a Queen there to give birth?....Weird.

The marine and the player predator meet kinda. The predator in the pod you have to raise and go under as a marine is the player one, and you see that from inside the pod when you play as him.

You know, it's quite odd when you think of it.

In the marine campaign you were slaughtering aliens left and right (provided they didn't spray you with thier evil blood)

Yet, in the alien campaign, your slaughtering marines left and right (with no problem with thier blood.)

So this leads me to believe either Frosty had some bullets that weren't made of paper, or Bruce doesn't have paper skin.
