  • United States Navy "Chaplains" formed in 1775, when George Washington funded privately our American Republics first fighting forces. NEW American Navy was formed under "An Appeal To Heaven" Flag. White flag (Representing Divine Purity) with green Liberty Tree (Representing Liberty Tree where True Sons of Liberty Met, later cut down by British) with words "An Appeal To Heaven" clearly stated George Washington & our Forefather intended our Republic to be UNDER GOD "Christian Trinity ONLY"!

  • i am an atheist and i leave for boot camp in a few months. i know now to really keep my mouth shut. i thought that the military abides by the first amendment. i think that there is no room for religion in the military.

  • They service every religion for those who may go and die. They are not forcing you to listen to their services or anything so being disrespectful would just be intolerant. They tolerate your nonreligious ass right? Why cant you tolerate their religious ass, right or wrong everyone can have their own beliefs and opinions.

  • your pushing the very thing you accuse of....stop pushing your atheistic, pissed off at God attitude and keep it to yourself........simple as that.

  • I want to follow Jesus Christ, and serve the United States people by going in the Navy.

The other insignia is the U.S. Navy officer crest.

  • Lieutenant is 0-3 in the Navy and Coast Guard, 0-3 is Captain in USMC/ USA / USAF In the Navy a Captain is 0-6, same as Colonel in the other services.
