All you would need to do is be 18 years of age to sign a contract. If you are under age of 18 your parents would need to give their consent. If they have no problem letting you become part of this organization then neither do we. Once we speak to your parents, you will receive a contract to sign & return. It's Simple :)
So all over your website it says that the rods are "limited edition" so does that mean once there all gone you wont make more rods and reels? or just rods? or are they here to stay?

The comment about limited edition was referring to the larger of the Pen Fishing Rods which is now known as the New 5' 3" Pen Rod Goliath which is the maximum length of tubes that can be crammed into such a small Pen Rod housing. They are reining as the best miniature telescopic fishing rods in the world and here to stay. We don't claim to make the BEST fishing rods & reels in the world, just the best MINI fishing rods & reels in the world! :)

If someone can catch an 18lb carp on them, then surely they can catch any fish that weighs 18lbs. However, just because someone else can do it doesn't mean that everyone can! It takes skill, determination & perseverance to hook, fight & land a huge fish on micro light tackle. Just like anyting else in life, practice makes perfect. :)

Cool concept. It might come in handy for a person that travels, but I dont think it would handle the abuse that I would put on it. I have snapped to many rods by trying to horse a hawg out of a weed bed...lol

These are basically for small fish, however, the record on 1 of these is 18 lbs. It's all about finesse fishing & having fun. If you want a tournament rod, these are not for you. These are fo having fun, backpacking, hiking & honing your ultra light fishing skills.

It takes a lot of preperation to assure that our rods are ready for public consmption before we release them. Being that they are micro engineered, it takes various methods of testing to make sure that we will mass produce them. So far there's only 1 63" PRE & I am happy to say it's mine, it works wonderfully & I LOVE IT! :)

Just look up a Morning of carp fishing with Penfishingrods,com & you will see over 20 lbs of carp taken in a few hrs in that video. I reiterate, results may vary. I can catch a 28 lb Salmon on 5 lb test, so far that's my record. Fishing with the Pen Rod Extreme requires skill, determination & experience with one :)
Yes, you certainly can. Caught my first carp ever on April 5, 2009. It was fun, but not as much fun as the two I caught on April 29, 2009 with my Pen Rod Extreme, one ten pounds and one six pounds. My first full season of fishing was 2008, a more experienced angler could probably do even better than that.

It's quite a challenge to catch a larger fish on these rods, but it teaches you how to fight & land a fish of size on Ultra Light Tackle. Hi dukkiedukk08 , thanks for commenting. The BASS gone WILD 1, 2 & 3 Thrillogy was filmed on Kensico Reservoir, Westchester County, NY. There's pretty big fish in there. I pulled brown & lake trout up to 10 lbs, smallmouth & largemouth from 1 - 7.9 lbs. The smallmoth aren't as big as the largees get. There was a 24 lb lake trout taken out of this lake a few years ago. There are several great reservoirs in NY State just 28 minutes from NYC where I live. Tight Lines, stand by for more great videos

We finally got the BASS gone WILD thrillogy done. We were taunted by comments. We received lots of requests to go after slightly bigger fish, so we did! We pushed the pen rod extreme to its limit on a few fish. We set hooks, we pulled them out of submerged grass and trees. I was using 6lb line so every time the fish pulled, ran or jumped my heart was in my throat! We managed to catch a few nice ones. The fights were long, the fish fought hard. We did this all for YOU!
