Jah tuurlijk veel sneller, daarom dat ik zelfs met mijn oude 1.9TDI met 200Pk elke OPC kon voorbijzoemen, trouwens, snelheid is niet alles. Een golf is bovendien veel betrouwbaarder dan een Opel, heb al meerdere malen met opel gereden zoals de nieuwe corsa en de Astra, echt verschrikkelijk hoe die hellen, zelfs de remmen? Een oeroud systeem uit de jaren 90, blijf jij maar met je sjonnie bakkie verdercrossen, wij kijken wel verder dan dat.

There's two differences between Golf GTI and Civic R: 1) You don' t need to drive the Golf GTI at 5000+ rpm for it to feel like a sports car and 2) The Golf GTI doesn't look like a toy car.

yeah but thats just a cheap, poor performing v8 (obviously better than the golf but in v8 terms its poor). i dont really see the gti as a performance car, rather just a nice lil hatchback with enough under the bonnet to make it fun every now and then. for more performance i guess you go with the r32 or the new version; the r20 or gti-r (not sure what it will be called)

HID is the High Intensity Discharge headlights, usually in blue/violet colors. A lot of features such as adaptive cruise control and stuff are standard in Europe, but not in the US to keep the price down, hope they do. 25k is too much, i'd much rather opt for a Mazdaspeed3 or WRX.

The R32 is going to be replaced by a AWD GTI-R, I'm looking forward to that, but depending on the price, I will choose between that and the 2 i listed above.

Having owned both marks, they're far and away more fun to drive than all of the other non-high end makes. I'd say the Mazda is virtually tied as far as "fun to drive" but that level of refinement and ,dare i say, comfort that comes with the VW is what truly sets it apart.

FSI 1.6 Cheap? is not! 1200-2000 Benz 7.2 - But is too sleepy, runs so slow but when u meak 2000-3000/minute its geting little faster LIttle faster and Benz gos UP! like 2.0 and more. But Golf is really good car, very. it's more better that Toyota Corola (1.6, before father bought )

Long live the mk I. 110bhp for 1.6liters in 1976 was pretty serious. The mk VI is an amazing car, but I do like the mk I more.

When you look at the mk I, you know it's a VW. When you look at some of the modern European stuff, you wonder if it's European of Japanese. I prefer older cars because at least you can work on them yourself and not have to rely on expensive dealers.

210 PK is trouwens meer dan genoeg zeker met een lekkere DSG eraan, de meeste mensen in me straat halen echt niet meer dan 210 PK hoor haha.

Ja, die GTI'tjes worden veel meer beschaafder.

VW moet is een echte versie maken met 300 pk.

En niet 200 pk, straks word een GTI een normale golf met een ander uiterlijk, en een normale motor. Gooi er een keer een 3 liter v6 in met een turbo, daar zullen we wel wat blijer mee zijn, maar waarschijnlijk loopt niet van VW te luisteren
