i got a easier way to get it earlier just kill crcomire as soon you can then you can have the grapple to get the scope

If you have Super Missiles, you can kill the claw enemies that try to grab you.

@DessiatoTAS it really isn't needed unless your doing a 100% run but it is also for people that are going through just for fun so they can find hidden items they don't know where are but for people who know the game and try to do fastest runs usually skip this item

It was actually a fast X-ray run, not a low% run. That being said, it is possible to win with tool-assistance using the method I described, but I don't know how it works. Generally speaking, this isn't of practical signficance in a low% or any% run (or any speedrun for that matter).

I saw a 12 minute TAS of the whole game (internal timer, obviously), using a fast x-ray scope kind of like this (but somehow insanely fast) and x-ray climbing into Tourian (yeah, it was bizarre). Then he powerbombed the metroids to death, went into the Mother Brain room, and x-ray climbed through the roof, into the room after Mother Brain, and escaped. It was totally awesome.
