Why is there two versions of this fight? One of them Sephiroth stabs Cloud in the shoulder and in another Sephiroth spears him and holds him up in the air like he did in Crisis Core. Is one of them a deleted scene or something?

@shippudenfanatic one of the versions is the way it is because the film was rushed for release and when they made complete thats when they put the version they deemed suitable for the emotion of the story and the fight at that point.

Sigh, no.

Sephiroth doesn't want Cloud's forgiveness for anything. He knows of Cloud's weaknesses, that he's troubled and stunted by his self hatred for letting Aerith die. So he tries using that against him by taunting him with: "On your knees. I want you to beg for forgiveness."

After all, Sephiroth was the one that killed Aerith in the first place, and witnessed Cloud's breakdown right afterward.

Actually...

The sword Cloud is using is NOT the Buster Sword. It's the First Tsurugi. The Buster Sword in Advent Children is the rusted sword that Kadaj kicked down in the beginning, marking the place where Zack died. Cloud stands it back up, which is when he thinks "I said I'd live out both our lives... easy to make that promise."

@spartakickbabies It's not really Sephiroth. In FFVII Advent Children, the character Kadaj takes on the form of Sephiroth. It's not him at the height of his power by any means, and that's why after Cloud deals enough damage he reverts back to being Kadaj after Genova's cells wear off.

"Animal I Have Become" by Three Days Grace is a decent song with a mid-level vocalist and a decent main riff. While not a great song. It's catchy if a bit light. I'm quite sure someone has used that song with much of the footage that is seen in this video, I'd rather not redo the same video. I went for a song fewer people know... and I chose it for the lyrical content. Beyond that, how well a video goes with a certain song is purely opinion.
