Well im not happy about RFID or Biometrics either but the security issue needs to be adressed. If your more worried about being a slave of the Govt then you are afraid to mention teh name of your enemy then youve lost your freedom already.

Thats rubbish, let me tell you I'm from Ireland and ever since I was born over 30 years ago and up until recently the Ira have had a bombing campaign against England to try and get the British army out of this country. Even with national id's it would not have made a differance. The thing about terrorists is the fact that nobody knows who they are. It could have been my neighbour or freind and I still wouldn't know they were IRA.

Yes but national ID or tagging people is not the answer to terrorism. The question is why did the British receive so much hatred? Maybe it was because they were an empire in many countries around the world. People don't just decide to bomb a country because it's free or they don't they like people that just doesn't make sense. Its the labour government who wish to introduce Biometric ID. The main opposition partys which consist of the Conservatives and Liberal Democrats oppose the plan. A few labour MPs also appose so im not sure if the law will pass, atleast the Conservatives said if they get into power they will do away with the scheme.

Labour said the ID's would cost each member of britain around £80 and would be compulsary to purchase them.
