Dude, i don't know if you're a scientologist but this video is obviously shows one side of the story. Anyone who watches the full documentary will know why the bbc reporter lost it. Scientologists are abviously very good at blackmailing people

Why are people so afraid to let people follow there own path ? Does this reporter have a right to report freedom of speach, absolutley. Does he have a right to spread hatred and attacks on someones beliefs, I think not. We all have a responsibility to express our beliefs in a constructive manor, this was clearly not a constructive manor and therefore the reporter was completely out of line.

I would re-consider this video if I were you, rethink how many people you violate. Sweeney made a mistake. Sci made crimes. Perhaps you should dig deeper before making jokes out of this.

Matt, you do realize that the clip of him 'losing it' was tampered with by the cult, right? It's been taken out of context after the cultists basically goaded poor Sweeney into getting angry. Scientologists are actually trained to do this, and to get film of such things that they can use against people - they may claim to hate psychology, but they hypocritically use it to harrass critics.

I believe we can, if one has a satellite dish. I recall a friend of mine being able to watch the BBC. It's not a part of our regular cable packages, though. Most of what I see from the BBC comes off the internet. Thanks, Pauly! -- Matt

I don't think of it as funny as you seem to do. I'm scared of the control that goes out of Scientology, this man was spied out fron that "religion" like they call themselves; how would you have reacted if you try to talk again and again normally to someone, but that one steals your privacy. I don't know how such a dangerous sect can exist.

Well, in fairness, an investigative journalist spies on people, as well. The Scientologists were spying on him because he was investigating them. I've watched both their documentary on "Panorama" and the "Panorama" investigative report on Sweeney and the BBC and it looks like both sides were using pretty sleazy tactics. Sweeney wanted them to admit they are a cult, and they wouldn't do that. He dug up dirt on them, they dug up dirt on him. It's all pretty vile from both sides. -- Matt

I did. I still don't agree with his outburst. He is an investigative journalist. He's supposed to be tougher than to play into the hands of the people he is seeking to expose. Both "Panorama" and The Church of Scientology's documentary are casebook examples of distorting facts to present their case. I found both videos very interesting. -- Matt

Maybe some of the people defaming the name of john sweeney after watching a clip that lasts for 1 min should watch it too. you can find it on the bbc website. dont forget that the clip shown was filmed and EDITED by scientologists
