I'm a big fan of the game and I bought both the PC & PS2 version of it.

In case you have diffculties acquiring the PC version, try to search for the PS2 version^^

It might have been because your pc cannot read the unicode from the game. Try control panel -> Regional and language options -> advance tab -> from the dropdown list, choose Japanese. (assuming you're running Window XP)

I remember reading off hongfire or something saying this is a common problem for people.
