Detailed study of the accounts of the FDNY shows that over half of those who received warnings of WTC 7’s collapse (where degree of certainty can be determined from the reports) were certain or were told with certainty that it was coming down.

So as most people with a basic understanding of physics know that gravity pulls things straight down, so a building is constantly fighting being pulled straight down, and if its that heavily damaged and weight is shifting around to the point where it cant hold up...

Thats what happened, you can one side of the building sink a little 8 seconds before the entire building collapsed straight down, because one of the three main trusses of the building gave out, and the building redistributed the weight to the other two trusses that completely gave out once the extra weight was shifted over to them.
