I love Both, but i have to say that the U.S. Version is alot hotter, Gale Harold playing brian kinney is Hot!!!!!. Stuart is cute but not all that. Nathan is hot and so is Justin. I also love bot Emmet Honeycutt and sorry i forgot his name, but the U.K version of Emmet Honeycutt. Yeah so U.S. Rocks, i still love the U.K though. BYE.

I started to watch the us version but gave up during the first episode, because i couldn't stand the guys, then i found out there was the original uk one and i immediatly fell in love with it =)

I think the guys in the UK version are much cuter. The ones in the US version, they just pissed me off so much. Two of the guys were so full of themselves and one was a total asshat. I already like the UK version more.

The US version had more of a political agenda, like how they always referenced being gay, while the UK version is more natural.

Omgosh, in the US episode they reference Batman and in this episode they reference Titanic. Hmmmmmm

Oh, and yeah I think the US version is waaay better.

Not only does the US one have hotter men (that does matter) but they have a great balance of dark scenes and witty scenes. So far watching the UK one I noticed it lacks depth and emotional levels.

I saw the US version before I saw the UK verseion, so for me the QAF is the US version. But then I wanted to give UK a chance but I can't say that I like it, the actors are just not that good actors! US version rules! Brian is just so hot^^

just watched the US version and have to say that it was way better. The characters seemed more real to me than the UK version.

i have to admit I like this version too but for entirely different reasons. the comedy in here is wonderful and so subtle. like the laugh you would get while reading something clever, i love it.

@Dregel I am American and agree with you. The first two seasons of queer as folk in the u.s weren't very good. The characters were annoying and thought they were more attractive than they actually were. None of them were hot especially that buck tooth Justin. Yuck. Not to mention the acting was poor. It got better for the third season then got stupid again after that.

If you watch both versions of QAF, apart from the cultural, stylistic and some plot deviations, they are essentially the same!
