  • how do make the piano to play more than two notes?

  • nice app i am making drum app can you please tell me how to enable multitouch app?

  • It sounds that you have murderd someone :O

  • Very nice. Are Silverlight and Visual Basic the only supported languages? Can apps be written for the WP7 in C Sharp?

  • @ZacharyGretzinger

You actually can't use VB, just C#. So go for it :)

  • @WrongWayGames Really? I thought it supported VB... Oh well. Thanks a lot though. I tried to use Visual Studio 2010 for Windows Phone but it just confused the hell out of me. Some IDE's are harder to use than the friggin' programming language is lmao. I only saw options to write in Silverlight and a ton of stuff about XMAL . I'll look around though. Thanks again, man

  • @ZacharyGretzinger VB is supported but i don't think its final yet. You have to download some beta/prerelease version of the developer tools that handles development using VB. Do a quick search online and you'll find it

  • @quocthy123 Well I only really have experience in C++ and C# so I'm not too worried about it. I was just confused though because I did download the dev kit for WP7 and when I opened up a tab to write code it only gave me the option to write in Silverlight. The app had a web browser in it though so I'm thinking that's why but I was worried that C# for whatever reason wasn't supported

  • wow, that was pretty good!!

  • Looks very well done. Nice featureset and attention to aesthetics

  • its funny how some people are saying there wont be enough apps in time and wp7 will fail. lol who cars if there is not a million apps, at least if good quality apps like this keep coming out windows phone wont have anything to worry about. quality over quantity as the say

  • this looks really great, by far best piano interface i've seen on mobile device ... just need some improvment with the piano sound esp sustain notes, and multi-touch support...

  • Add Pinch to Zoom and multitouch and i'll buy it.

  • @matroqs2 well damn how close to piano keys do you get?

  • Can you do silverlight tutorials? I woul like to get into developing.

  • Cool, really nice app.

  • why it has to be windows, not android?? *sigh

  • @taufan8687 Probably because Windows has better dev tools and there is no chance for piracy. Thats why I'm developing for WP7. Right now, I'm in the same situation as you, wishing great apps like this would make it to the Android marketplace.

  • @PAPERCLlPS yeah, i hope something like this will be available soon at android market.. :)

  • @taufan8687 Same here, there are some decent piano apps, but this one has more features and looks better than all the others.

  • @PAPERCLlPS

Your right, thats why I am also developing for the platform. Piracy is almost impossible, and I can easily port my app with just a few lines of code in change to the xbox arcade and even Windows.

The free tools? Man! Can't beat it! Not to mention that the tools are certainly the best out there by FAR!

The platform is amazing and graceful. In fact, it totally trumps everything else in every way except for multi-tasking and copy/paste. I honestly know FOR SURE that this is the way.

  • Looks Fantastic.

  • Absolutely beautiful, and superb audio quality.

(Curiously, the right pedal on the piano is normally termed "Sustain" rather than "Damper"--that's a different one.)

I'm curious why one needs to use a chord editor to establish chords, rather than multi-touching.

  • @klerulo In regards to the chords, I would guess that it's because it can be hard to pull off chords on a touch screen sometimes so you can create shortcuts just in case.

  • This has to be the highest quality app I've seen on wp7. Only advice I have is that you should square off the damper and edit chord buttons.

  • Awesome!!! Am just speechless... Couple of suggestion though... It'll be cooler, if during playback the key presses sync with the sound... and the scrolling stutters a little, try to make it more kinetic and natural... This is my next platform of choice and am really grateful for your effort... Thanks alot... Cheerz

  • Great app

  • awesome. It's even cooler than the Piano app on the Zune HD.

  • Very nice!

  • good wrk

  • Wow, that looks SO cool. I just LOVE anything that has to do with sound and audible fun :D

    Get this guy a phone!

  • Nice!

  • That looks like a lot of fun, and a lot easier to fit in your pocket the a Grand Piano.

  • Excellent UI! My one suggestion though is that when recorded music played back, it would probably nice to see the keys moving in synch.

  • beautiful UI, great job mate.. I will give it some press on 1800PocketPC

  • Wow, I wish my Computer Science teacher taught us C# instead of Java. I'm trying to learn how to code WP7 apps and it's been a lot of fun so far.

  • very sexy!
