  • im having problems with my hp dv6000.i wont to know if u can help me . well the problem is it wont start lights flash and thats it . iv sent it to hp like 5 years ago and it happened again ...CAN U HELP ME :)

  • Hi, this all looks (fairly) straight forward but, why is it necessary to heat the GPU chip with the pen torch?

  • I just called and asked how much it was to fix my dv9000 (with HDMI Port) with the same problem and I was told $144 to fix it. I forgot to ask how long do you guys warranty your work?

  • Laptops fail for two reasons, number one is heat, the heatsinks get loaded up with dust then overheat. Also you cannot keep a laptop on a bed or carpet, it needs a clear path of airflow to function properly. Number two is people carry around laptops with one hand flexing the motherboards and break the solder on the GPU chip.

This problem is not limited to HP laptops, all laptops have the same failure. you see more HP just because there are more of them out there.

  • The problem with doing this is most of the time it works but only for a while. the issue is the quality of the solder under the GPU, traditional chips have pins where as the newer GPU's use whats called a BGA meaning instead of pins solder balls are used. Lead free solder has been used since 2007 thanks to the tree huggers and now there are landfills filled with broken laptops because of it.

  • thankss

  • FINALLY THANK YOU THANK? YOU THANK YOU

  • OMG that video was amazing ...

  • This video is very helpful! I have run into a problem though..My DV9500 has the two chips on the heatsink that go to the fan (as seen in the video), but it also has a second chip and heatsink that sits right below the fan on the motherboard. This chip is marked "nividia" and the chip next to the cpu is unmarked. Which one of these chips do I apply heat to and add a chopper shim? No video I have seen addresses this third chip!

  • your a pro!

  • Much better than I expected..congrats!

  • Great video guys!!!!!! Followed this step for step. This girl was about to throw the laptop away until I told her I would give it a try. Followed your video, fixed the laptop and landed me a date A+++

  • @MrForce40000 Great work! Im glad you were able to get it working..

    Thats super..

    All the best,

    -Pete

  • Yea I used an actual digital 4 sided air tool from my work. Set it to 410f, just slowly rotated it around the graphics chip for about minute (I started while it was at about 350f, then after about 20 seconds it hit 410f steady), let it cool down and put on the custom copper heat sink. Took an hour and a half to complete the whole project with this video, once again thanks.

  • i got a new board but its doing same thing, what could it be?

  • @russianpro If you got a board from ebay there is a good chance the people didnt do a professional job fixing it.. I would follow the steps to fix it or your welcome to send it our way.

    All the best,

    -Pete

  • I like it! Well done!

  • thanks for the instructions! I just reheated the gpu (+northbridge just in case) of my dv9000 and it did the job perfectly. Mine has 8600GT gpu, 2 heatpipes so a bit different setup but the issue seems to be same.

  • @jaapa nice! Great work

  • @jaapa I have the different set up as well on my dv9500t. Did you reheat the chip that says "nvidia" that sits below the fan and has its own heatsink, or did you reheat the chip that is placed where the nvidia chip is on most 9000s? I am also confused on where to place a copper shim. The graphics heatsink looks like it sits firmly on the chip but I am not sure

  • i like this

  • (OMG !!! AWESOME clip :D)

  • thanks so much this helped? a lot

  • WOAH, that was sick very good video well done

  • Favorited, Liked, and Subbed

  • i like it! <3

  • There is only one thing i dont like, i cant force my friends to favorite this aswell!

  • Im checking out your other videos, nice job!

  • what? is the name of track?

  • Thats awesome.. Just be sure to really clean out the heat sink and use pure copper and good thermal compound.. I have do doubt it will come up and work better then before.. IF you run into a problem your welcome to send it our way. Rebootit . biz or our repair hotline is 321-332-0710

    All the best,

    -Pete

  • @jwc969 Please email me sales @ rebootit . biz I will look into what exactly happened & get it resolved. We have an extensive testing process and max out the CPU & GPU to ensure its 100% If it failed at that point we would have to do a GPU chip swap or board swap. We fix thousands of laptops and sometimes things do fall through the cracks but I will make good on it and make sure your happy.

Thanks for your understanding & you have my word I will take care of it.

    All the best,

    -Pete

  • @mixcatcom We since upgraded our phone system to allow more in bound calls to be answered at the same time. We get hundreds of calls per day and now have no problem keeping up with demand.. Dont worry my friend we will sort it out and get you back that laptop ASAP.

    -Pete

  • i did the same and i solved the problem but i got same problem later ( i didn't put any thermal compound) what should i do ?

  • @jwc969 wow. good thing you are keeping up with this error

  • my processor that i had paid for from HP when the laptop was ordered was an Intel Core 2 Duo T7200 @2.00ghz . i get the laptop back, and i find, that my processor has been swapped from the one i paid for the T7200 Core2Duo, down to a T2500 CoreDuo. the laptop runs slower than ever. now two days after receiving my laptop, i hear something rattling around inside from minor movement of the laptop.

  • We bought two of these and have this problem. Wondering if you have info about class action. Is hp helping with this at all? I have the worst luck in the world, just had too but two of them, very costly pos's.

  • @carmakazi84 Thats unreal; we had let one of our techs go recently and doing a little recovery due to this. If you email me sales at rebootit . biz give me your ticket number, I have do doubt it was your CPU didnt pass our stress test; I can mail you an CPU upgrade gratis.

Thanks for your understanding and time,

    -Pete

  • @carmakazi84 Im sorry about that.. We hear that all day long.. ;o) The class action is over.. There is not much you can do at this point.. If you need help with the system we would be glad to get that working like new for you.

Just give us a buzz at the shop.

    All the best,

    -Pete

  • Great video! Product design for future sales, maybe?

  • @TekkHakk Stay tuned we have a lot in R&D currently.

  • if they had a black screen how could they be watching this video?

  • @tehduckeeeee haha... We need hope they have another system.. WIth an HP you always need a backup..

    All the best,

    -Pete

  • Please to unplug and reboot!

  • @MountainMonkSage If that dont work send it to Reboot ;o)~

    All the best,

    -Pete

  • they sure didn't make it easy to take apart ehh!

  • I have 2 question.

    1. i know that unpluging power chord, removing the battery, holding the power button for 30-40 seconds and repluging power is not a permanant fixed for this issue. But if i let it be like this , i mean use this method when i get the black screen how long do you think pete that i will be able to use this cursed laptop. Will there be any day when the laptop's video chip will totally damage by this overheating problem?

    2. If i use a laptop cooler will it do any good?

    Thanks

    Oyon

  • @Oyon1000 There is no way for me to guess how long your laptop will last as it is.. I wouldnt run it like that as the issue will get worse and you could end up damaging the GPU for a more costly repair.. The cooler it runs the longer it last..

    All the best,

    -Pete

  • In the middle of doing a dv9000 series... I ended up getting a micro torch and just holding it about 6" above the chip and going around in circles for about 30 seconds. Let it cool, then did the same thing again. When hooked up to power I now have video!!! Now i'm waiting for my darn battery in the Dremel to charge so I can finish cutting the copper pieces I need!!! Stupid thing died in the middle of me cutting the piece for the video chip. NOTE: I ended up using a piece copper pipe.

  • @adrbro13 Oh oke thanks for sharing, I thought that heating it up would melt the solder and attach them to each other, that way it would not work anymore. But oke, thank you :)

  • What does the heating do? I don't get that part. It's busted because of the heating in the first place, how does heating it up more fix the problem?

  • @ShaneNL69

The solder connections basically unsolder themselves due to overheating of the GPU chip. The torch heats the solder up so it reflows and reconnects the GPU pins to the motherboard's connections (vias).

  • At 8 mins, my brain melted. Looks like I wont be able to do this...

  • @RadBomber69 haha... Well if you need some help we would be glad to get that working for you. Just give us a buz at the shop 321-332-0710

    All the best,

    -Pete

  • Thanks!!!

  • OK, now it won't boot-up at all! Sometimes it has a black screen and sometimes it stops at the HP start up screen. Any idea if this laptop is worth the expense to fix?

  • @biscit4me I think it is, at $125 to get a laptop up and working with all your apps. If you big into gaming, I would fix this back up your data and sell it. Just give us a buzz at the shop if you need some more info.. 321-332-0710

    All the best,

    -Pete

  • Need info on the lawsuit called hp and they tried to sell me another motherboard

  • @PsychoticCreations Unfortunately, they ended the claims. They basically screwed over the victims

  • @PsychoticCreations Yes, its over, we have a link to the site on our business website Rebootit . biz

    All the best,

    -Pete

  • I have done the reflow and soldering on the HP TX1000, DV2000, DV6000, and DV9000! It works, granted. For how long?.... is the real question. Great tutorial!

  • @cadillacjew Awesome work! Yes, it depends on how badly the chip overheated and if you addressed the cooling issue. The cooler it runs the longer it lasts..

    All the best,

    -Pete

  • this is common for all HP (Have Problem), don't buy HP shit computers

  • @dadikiuz haha

  • May I have information about the class action law suit?

  • @respondtwome We have a link on our website Rebootit . biz

Im pretty sure thats over now.

    All teh best,

    -Pete

  • Did it for me thank you! Ours was getting more and more unreliable and then failed. Followed your tuition, built a heat sink out of an old alumium CPU cooler and jobs a good'n! Well pleased thank you very much!

  • @01craigk Awesome work! Thats super..

Glad you found the info helpful.

    -Pete

  • Thanks for a great video

But I wonder if this torching the GPU doesn’t toast the components in the chip.

Because as long as I remember we try not to heat up the GPU over 65-70 degrees Celsius at all time.

And now you say we have to burn the chip for 10-15 sec at 220 c.

    I can´t quite understand how that’s possible

This raise another question: If I fail the first time doing this, is it possible to do it again or am I toast?

    Thanks again for your help

  • @Maxpayam22 The chip is not running with voltage in it when the heating is done - makes a BIG DIFFERENCE...

  • @Maxpayam22 You cant bring it over 220C or you will to toast the chip.. We now use digital dark IR reflow stations that target the solder without hurting the chip.. If you need some help with the repair, we are $125 and that includes the shipping back on most laptops. The shop number is 321-332-0710

    All the best,

    -Pete

  • If it is a south bridge issue, what is involved and how expensive is it? I don't want to spend so much that I could have just bought a new laptop. Thanks

  • @biscit4me The range is $125 to $200 and its including the shipping back to you.. Call us for details 321-332-0710 We will get that laptop working like new for you.

    All the best,

    -Pete

  • I meant that you wanna get it up to about 210 degrees fahrenheit .....which converts to 98 degrees celsius

  • @hayward5000 OH MY GOODNESS.......I HOPE YOU MEANT 177 F. .BECAUSE YOU SAID 177CELSIUS....THAT IS 350F....NO WONDER WHY ITS BUBBLING....its suppose to be heated up to 220F.....

  • @MsJeni5

No man. The flow point of solder is 220c not 220f. 220f wont even heat up food!.

The substrate is bubbling because you either did not use foil to protect the board around the chip or you heated it up to fast. The video does not explain what you need to know about basic physics. Heat curve and slope. You should not surpass 3-4degrees per second heating and cooling. You must also preheat the chip to about 100c before you go to 220c.

    later....

  • @MsJeni5 220C and you need to make sure you have a way to measure that heat if not you might end up needing a chip swap.. IF you need help just give us a buz 321-332-0710

    All the best,

    -Pete

  • i like it becuase it as private good memorise for discoveries of them

  • I have a couple of questions. I have the same laptop model that you are fixing. Can I use a Butane Pencil Torch? and for how long do i need to apply it? Thanks.

  • @hr1625

You need to reach 220c gradually and gradually let cool by atmosphere. You need a digital thermometer you put on the chip while you heat. Do not exceed 220c. You only have to hit 220c and then STOP!!

    later..........

  • I'd just like to say thank you very much It took me four hours but I got it done I used a general purpose blow torch set on lowest flame Slowly heated the chip until it would hurt to touch with my finger The hardest part was taking it apart and putting it back together About 100 screws I only had 5 screws left over after finishing, not bad If anyone can't do this with your great instructions they don't need to be working on a laptop Thank you again Tim
  • @time00001 awesome work

  • I fix computer too. good job!

  • @yxhankun Super

  • @yxhankun nice, glad we can help!

    -Pete

  • It's amazing that the repair charge is only $125. The procedure is very labor intensive with a significant chance of error or damage.

  • @TomZentra It really is a lot of work, and over the 2 years we been doing it we really have learned all the ins and outs of these systems. We also have professional tools that help the repair go a lot better. Thanks for the comments and if you have any questions your welcome to give us a buzz at the shop.

    All the best,

    -Pete

  • Hello, I was wondering if this fix would solve my problem. My DV9000 will boot up (sometimes, I am writing this using it.) If after it boots up I have to re-boot, it won't re-boot until I let it cool off first. Also, the DVD drive and the Bluetooth won't work. Is that a symptom of this issue? Should this fix be performed, will it fix those issues also? I am very interested in this because having a computer that won't always boot up and not being able to use the DVD is getting very old.

  • @biscit4me Yes you might also have a south bridge issue but I would give this a shot.. If you would like some help with that, we can get it working like new for you. $125 included the labor & shipping back to you too. If you have any questions just give us a buzz at the shop. 321-332-0710

    All the best,

    -Pete

  • First of all, did this reflow..laptop now works! (dv 9000) (can't thank you enough). The only issue I seem to be having is that now my fan is constantly on and I watch the GPU temp climb to about 96 Celcius in about 15 minutes before I shut the computer down. Would you know what I did wrong? I reflowed, let it cool, put a copper shim about as thick as the foam pad I took out over the chip but used di-electric grease in lieu of cooling compound..could that be my problem? Any help is appriciated.

  • @ahaun08 Thanks for the kind words.. I would make sure you fan is coming on or you might have not connected it.. I would check your gap on the heatsink too.. You dont want to add to thick of a copper shim. Pennies dont work well.

Use good thermal paste and you should be fine.

    I hope that helps,

    -Pete

  • @ahaun08

Hello..........You MUST use good quality thermal compound to dissipate the heat. Your grease is acting like an insulator not a conductor. Rip it apart and do it right with the correct THERMAL COMPOUND!

    Later....

  • What is the name of the fire tool that u use to heat the gpu?

  • @samuelmf That was a pen torch but we use digital Infrared Reflow stations now it helps us hit the correct temp and not harm any of the components.. If you need help with the repair your welcome to give us a buzz 321-332-0710

    All the best,

    -Pete

  • @samuelmf

    pen torch

  • Can you give some kind of explanation on what heating the GPU up is actually fixing? I can not think of any logical reason. Thanks in advance!

  • @snippydude

Hello, the problem with these DV series machines is 1) improper cooling 2) improper solder on gpu chip.

When you heat the chip to 220f you are heating up the chip to motherboard solder points. 220f is the temp where solder starts to run. This will enable the bad/damaged solder points to reconnect properly......If all goes well that is......

    Good Luck........

  • @777jonah888 That makes sense, thank you very much!

  • @snippydude

No problem but I made a mistake. It should be 220 Celsius not Fahrenheit.

    Later.........

  • @snippydude There is solder under the chip that makes connection to the motherboard, the connections get weak with use and heat, so reflowing them renews the connections.

    I hope that helps..

    -Pete 321-332-0710

  • Is the fix for dv1000 to???

  • @520Element It might.. If its the GPU the reflow will take care of that issue. You welcome to call the shop with questions,

    All the best,

    -Pete

    321-332-0710

  • @mixcatcom GPU started to bubble at 177 deg C. This ever happen to you guys? I wasn't expecting that. I pulled the torch away immediately. Temp gauge showed 177 as soon as it bubbled. I think I killed it. Any thoughts?

  • who the fk dislikes a video as informative as this? illiterate simple minded fucks

  • @brandonlink No worries, we have met tons of great people from the success of this video and fixed a ton of laptops. Lots more tech repairs to come.

    All the best,

    -Pete

  • the fact that this has 1,176,209 views is ******* up

  • @SirWilliam0101 Thanks, A lot of repair shops really copy cat my tech videos and then bite the hand that feeds them. ;o) Its OK We have a lot more cool tech repairs we will share with the world.

    All the best,

    -Pete

  • 2 hours for taking it apart? really it took me 30 mins to take it apart and another 30 to put in the motherboard... If u are taking 2 hours then you need to go back to school :)... Just playing but really 2 hours i take 1 hour to do everything... But thanks for the video, i kind of figured it was the video card... Just seems like a bitch to de solder then just to go buy a motherboard off of ebay for 65 dollars :|...

  • @curemymind The problem with boards for $65 on ebay is 9 times out of 10 people with heat guns buy bad boards repair them and put them back on ebay. They last a month or 2 tops.. If they are not done with Dark IR like we do at the shop they just dont last... Im glad you got your laptop working! All the best,

    -Pete

  • @mixcatcom This is why you look at the ones with warrenty for more then just a month at least 3 months or i don't buy it... But any who I am getting myself a heat gun soon to try this method out... and see if i can bring those motherboards back to life... I knew there was a reason why i kept them... Thanks for your comment :)

  • I just want to say THANK YOU for helping me!!!! I followed your tutorial and bam! My laptop is working again!

  • @conquerorhowie Awesome! You are now a laptop ninja ;o) All the best,

    -Pete

  • hot air* sorry for bad spelling

  • If I use hot ear to warm my nvidia cpu up, what kind if instrument did you talk about that you use, so you didn't get the chip to hot? alot of question hoply you can answer some of them :) Greetings from Johan

  • @Waijls0n Thanks yes its pretty detailed.. 220 C is the flow point and you need to get the chip back up to that flow point to repair the board.. If you have any issues just call us at the shop 321-332-0710

    All the best,

    -Pete

  • Helo, nice videclip i have hp pavilion dv 9095 ea, when i start it up i can hear a sound, how goes like a long pip and two short. After just a lilte google serch I'm prety shore that the pep sound tells me that there is something wrong with the motherboard and the nvida graphic. In your video you wasn't talking about any pep sound, do you think this is the same problem? And the solution can be to heat up the nvidia cpu just like you did? or is it to late when i can hear the beep sound?

  • @Waijls0n Sounds like the same, You will need to clean out everything like showed in the video and reflowed also.. If you need some help with it we would be glad to take care of that for you. Just call 321-332-0710 with any questions..

    All the best,

    -Pete

  • @mixcatcom I would be happy to let you guys help me out here with this problem, the problem is you are in usa and im in sweden, can't just walk a cross the street and lend it over in you shop :/ I will just follow you video clip and hope for the best!

  • Hi There,

I don't have a pen torch. Can I use a heat gun instead which heats a much wider area then the torch. Would it be OK to go if I use a double tin foil setup and go for it?

Thanks for the great stepwise instructions, and a nice tutorial.

    Greetings from Austria.

  • @malikjunaid1 Depending on the heat gun, it may work very well, even better than a pen torch. Most industrial circuit board rework stations use hot air to remove and reflow BGA and quad flat-pack integrated circuit packages, as it gives better control over the heat and prevents scorching of the package and the circuit board.

  • @malikjunaid1 Thanks.. Sure lots use heat guns.. 220C

    Good luck my friend,

    -Pete

  • My wife's laptop gave up the ghost this morning and when I googled, your video came up. Took me 5 hours total but viola! it worked. I was so happy! Thank you very much for the video. Laptops are hard to work on but your coaching made it easy.

I will add a couple things though. My laptop had a screw on the bottom right into the center of the keyboard, watch out for that one. Also there is a small ribbon cable connected to the touchpad that needs to be disconnected that the video doesn't show.

  • @BCReidler Wow great work my friend.. Im glad you got that working.. Thanks for the ideas and post.

    Have a great weekend,

    -Pete

  • Thanks for this video. Very handy video guide for me. I know my computers but hate navigating laptops. I also have big hands. Its much easier watching someone who has done it a million times.

  • @hayward5000 Thanks for the kind words.. Yes laptops are fun to work with.

    Have a great weekend,

    -Pete

  • Do you still fix these I have one. Dv9 series. Screen went today. The screen isn't fully black. It has a faint green tint to it.

  • @teamozie Sure we fix tons of these at the shop.. Just give us a buzz at the shop on monday 321-332-0710 or hit our website rebootit .biz

  • I have a DV9335nr with this same problem. The screen isn't blank but it goes to such low resolution that you can't see everything on the desktop. If you open any windows, you have to drag them to the left to be able to close the window.

What does a repair like this cost in your shop?

  • @MuskyCM We are $125 and it includes shipping back to you in the US.. You can check out our site for more details Rebootit . biz or call us during the week 321-332-0710

  • I have a Dell Inspiron, works just fine in my opinion, but recently turning on my computer is a lot harder. Now when i turn it on, it starts making a really loud series of beeps. i know i have to get in the computer and fix something. Maybe, if you can, you could make a tutorial on how to fix this problem, please help, im very lost\

  • Thanks for the video. but for how long I should burn the GPU?

  • I have an HP G60 and the screen lights up on startup and then the screen goes out i can see the screen faintly but very very faintly. What should I do? Also i have the computer hooked up to an external and it works fine.

  • I have an HP G60 and the screen lights up on startup and then the screen goes out i can see the screen faintly but very very faintly. What should I do?

  • Well, it booted up after the fix just fine. I let it run for an hour or so and shut down. When I tried to turn it back on the next day it didnt work anymore. But the symptoms have changed. Now when I turn it on I see the HP logo, then I see the windows loading bar, and after the bar goes away I see nothing.....

  • How long you leave the torch on the chip? .-

  • hi, do you repair laptops from abroad?

  • Do a video on how to fix corrupted bios on DV series after applying their corrupted bios update!!! Ton's of peeps think it's a GPU issue, but it's actually corrupted bios. It'll power up & you can see power around DV jack & around power button...fan comes on...then shuts down after 10 seconds & repeats the process.

  • Thanks for the video!!! Did everything you showed and it worked like a charm!!! Now, if I can only figure out why both of my shifts keys dont work lol

  • I just did the reflow and im waiting for it to cool, the only part of the vid i had problems with was when you were using the torch you didnt mention how to monitor the temp and the duration of the flame application. I counted along when you were doing it and then the video time lapses =\

  • Great video. I have the HP dv9543cl. After power on, a divided screen into four horizontal units. Each unit shows a complete screen but each is very small. Hard to read. On start up first hp bio screen then runs diagnostics, reads," windows cannot repair automatic". After that it shuts down. I tried f8, but I cannot open windows in safe mode. Is it the integrated graphics card? Or motherboard? Have you hear of this? Can your company repair and cost to repair? Thanks for your time.

  • After the repair, I booted it to make sure it was ok, it was. I put it together, and I get a fan error, 02FA I think it was. I replaced the fan thinking it was that, and no dice. One thing, I forgot to disconnect the back-up battery for cmos. any ideas? Thanks again Pete, your friend in Rhode Island, Miguel

  • i have the hp pavilion dv9780eo, is it the same fix for that one too? it doesn't start even if i have connected an external screen to it just some blue lights at the power button, charging light and the fan starts for a few seconds then slows down

  • @L4R5ify This is the same fix, if you need help with the repair just let us know.. We would be glad to help.

  • @L4R5ify you need to connect in a external screen and press F4 and select projector only

  • @L4R5ify I never mention you are stupid lol, is just an a opinion to trying to help you, but you know what f#$& y#%.

  • @neo1lemusgt well i just answerede never meant being rude, the capital letters were ment only to emphasize what i said. but since you are set on taking it the wrong way i'm sorry

  • @mixcatcom I would appreciate your answer.

When I turn on the laptop, it starts BIOS and shows half of Windows logo with some white dashes going vertically, after this I get sounds of Skype and Windows logins, after that it stays all black. Will this insightful video help me to fix this issue? Thank you!

  • @Simpsoniukas I would clean out the laptop internally and follow the reflow procedure. If you would like some help fixing that we would be glad to help. Just give us a buzz at the shop 321-332-0710

  • I have an HP DV9235NR, my problem, the video works 'sometimes'.As if something is loose. I dug it out of my closet today to figure out what was wrong. I turned it on and it worked fine. I noticed both of my shift keys didnt work, neither did any key on the numerical keypad. So I flipped it over, removed the screws for keyboard removal, removed the keyboard and cleaned it up and put it all back together. Now it dont work again....it turns on, the screen backlight is on but all i see is black.

  • i have a Hp dv 9700 notebook pc....my problem is that the backlight is working properly, the screen goes blank showing grains, sometimes horizontal lines accross the screen when i cold boot it again ...what could be the problem? Moses from kenya

  • What brand of Thermal paste do you recommend?

  • My HP DV9381ea bought in Holland has the nVidia Go7600 chip which is fitted in a different position to the one in the video,it has it's own dedicated copper cooling strip. Didn't make any difference though, still got the black screen syndrome. With nothing to lose and no blowtorch or IR thermometer, I cooked the motherboard at 195 degrees Celsius for 8 minutes, and it worked. Don't know how long it will last but now I always use a cooling pad with a powered fan. Thanks for the video guys.

  • I fix these machines all the time. I just pull the chip and reball the damn thing. easier, and more reliable.

  • Ok so i have made a video of the problem with my laptop.

  • It works ,thank you.

  • I have a problem with mine. How do you know what temp the chip is at and is there anyway to test if the little startup button is working correctly?

  • @saa2609 No problem... We can get that working like new for you.

If you would like some help with that just give us a buz at the shop. 321-332-0710
