Roger was a four time Jeopardy! champion in September 1986. The question isn't going to be hard for him. A J! champion seeing 1867 is likely to link the date to Alaska-Seward's Folly. Two of the references are to presidents being in office, and J! players often know when they were in office. That leaves Panama and Alaska. Panama Canal wasn't opened until early 20th century(Teddy R. was the first president to visit foreign land while in office in going to Panama)
