i never found the cords on the skull candys or any kind of ear buds to be long enough to "perform". they also broke really easily. with proper care and correct tightness to your head, over the ears are fine for performing. but in either case, i would only use ear plugs onstage, which is when performing actually counted.

pretty good job! You use a lot more arm than neccesary though, and that causes you to be late on a lot of your hits, mostly on the snare. I would suggest keeping your arms lower and more controlled, and not keeping your hands down for so long whenever you have a single snare hit, cuz its also part of what makes some of your hits late, and it kind of chokes the snare and gives it not as nice of a sound. beside that, it sounded nice though, and good foot work!
