he keeps the camera far away from the rapidly changing image to avoid pixilation and lessen the effect of dropped frames (if there are any). The farther away the camera is, the smaller the notes appear, which means they move a smaller distance across the area that the camera is filming when compared to a video like iamchrisforlife's. So dropped frames don't show up as a huge jump like they do on other people videos.
