  • I find it difficult to blame either of them for what they did/tried to do. Both women are trapped in lives without futures. Sue pennyless and slum bound, Maud rich but a laughing stock with her reputation in tatters.

The "gentleman" is the one pitting them off against each other, tempting both with an escape and the prospect of a better life. All his fault.

  • now i'm confused by identity's so....but all i can say is I take the side of the girl that had to pose as the maid and get him to marry her.

  • Omg! I can't believe I thought she and the uncle were such classy knowledgeable people, meanwhile they're reading porn the whole time! LOL

  • Oh Wow!! That Was Really Unexpected .. Never Saw It Coming .. Now That's Where It Gets Really Intriguing .. I'm Hooked =)))

  • elaine cassidy is one of the most beautiful women in the world. her face is so expresive and her voice and accent wow gorgeous. I think I'm in love.

  • I cant really take a side...though maud didnt seem all that concerned about doing whatever she had to do.....

  • Poor errand boy, he's so adorable! 5:16...

  • O MY LORD...y wud she do this.....Sue fell in love with her....y..

    r pple really this cruel./..and im crying again...Men :/

  • is this the continuation of 1-10???

  • That bitch!! puting Sue insid that place!! screw her!

  • @XallytheBeat Considering that Sue was going to do the same to her, I don't know that it's right to side with either. Albeit, I can understand getting mad at Maud because she completely destroyed Sue's conviction by full-on charming her. The poor girl struggled the whole time while trying to consign Maud to that fate. Maud? Didn't seem like she gave it a second thought.

  • @PootyHead Yes I have change of heart every time I think about their "situation", never the less I always end up taking Sue's side, because it is like you said: she evily lured Sue into her charm. Haha pure drama.

  • @PootyHead Cant really take any sides, Sue was gonna put Maud in there for the money even though she had fallen in love with her, and Maud was gonna put Sue in there for her freedom and to escape her uncle and "her prison". Maud prob didnt look as torn bcos she knew the whole time that Sue was pretending and lying whereas Sue didnt know that Maud was. If Maud wasnt in on it, Sue'd be the one in the carriage watching Maud be taken off. Maud cared. It was just an unfair situation either way.

  • @PootyHead

than you need to read the book! I'm on team Maud
