Avatar? Seriously? Well made, but far from top movie. Casino Royale? Poor attempt at rebooting James Bond. And Dark Knight was pretty good, but I wouldn't make it number 1. And what about Resident Evil (2002)? There had not been a serious zombie movie for 20 years before that movie, it completely resurrected (no pun...okay it was intended) that genre and managed to be a pretty good movie at the same time (the first one, not the most recent).

spider man 2 shouldnt have been on there and avatar higher (towards 10) on the list. Its good but the special effects are overrated, lots of bits u couldt take seriously and there was only 1 decent action scene.

How was Avatar good? Sure the graphics were great but the industry already had them, but Avatar took it public. Not really that groundbreaking it was just the winner in a race.

"Spiderman" brought super heroes to the attention of bigger audiences and was the first Mega-blockbuster comic book movie, "Batman Begins" was proof that every franchise deserves another chance. And sure "The dark knight" may have made more money, but a film franchise has gone in the same path, (Spiderman 2).
"The dark knight" was an excellent movie but several films received more acclaim than it did (Wall-e, The lord of the rings (1-3), Spiderman 2, Casino Royale)
