I love your mech sculptures - intriguing, clever and very cool. I take heart from how you found your way into this. I'm still waiting for my inspiration to flow but at least I can totally enjoy yours. Thanks!
@PakehaGal Try your hand at turning your creativity on its head, that is - to do something creative in a field or style you have never considered before. Or alternatively try to bring an outside interest into your art, or all of the above. You will be surprised at what you find and what you can do. Thank you so much for the compliment, I'm pleased you are enjoying my work :) Cheers, Brett.
@iluvrandomnames After struggling for inspiration as a painter I decided to combine my interest in engineering with my art, and got into building these kinetic sculptures. Cheers!
@grosenberg45 Hey thanks Gary, glad you enjoyed. Will have to use Every Single Day in one of my films, loving that song! And thanks so much for the compliment, means a lot coming from such an amazing artist! Hope you have a great weekend, Brett.
Brilliant. Brett, your works are starting to remind me of those automated moving machines of ancient Alexandria. I think you may be onto something here..
@neokenson Hi Daniel, hope 2011 is great for you! I studied Heron of Alexandria fairly extensively when I was at Uni, and though he was a great inventor of many practical and interesting things, I have always been inspired by his mechanical children's toys. It's a kind of "free" inventing that lets the mind off the leash, pretty much anything goes and it's bloody good fun! Glad you are enjoying the results mate, and thanks for checking it out! Cheers, Brett.
@IceHouseOwner Haha, thanks Chloe, it is a bloody silly looking thing! Look forward to getting stuck back into some serious stuff ;-) Thanks for checking it out, glad you liked! Hugs, Brett.
@AndybronzemasterX Cheers Andy, also looking forward to turning some interesting ideas into reality this year! Hope you have a fantastic, creative year too! All the best, Brett.
@stylesuxx23 Hi Chris, glad you enjoyed! From start to finish, it took about 7 weeks, including a couple of weeks of fine tuning to make sure everything was running right. Happy new year and all the best, Brett.
Tenias razón ,me encanta esta obra realizada en madera , un gran trabajo , desprende energía positiva. Enhorabuena Un fuerte abrazo y una gran sonrisa para ti. María Rosario.
