I stay at home simply so we can SAVE money. If I worked too, childcare would be at least half of my salary. We keep it simple and live on the cheap and that's okay. When the kids are in school, I will go back to work. I just dont think its fair to say that stay at home moms are lazy nor is it fair to say that the husbands have it "easy" to be at work.
I feel that if you are going to have kids, its better to raise them yourself and its a sacrifice but its worth it.

I stay at home simply so we can SAVE money. If I worked too, childcare would be at least half of my salary. We keep it simple and live on the cheap and that's okay. When the kids are in school, I will go back to work. I just dont think its fair to say that stay at home moms are lazy nor is it fair to say that the husbands have it "easy" to be at work.
I feel that if you are going to have kids, its better to raise them yourself and its a sacrifice but its worth it.

I already stated that housework is labor whether it's easy or not. Custodians, cooks, maintenence workers, teachers, and babysitters to everything that a housewife does and they get payed for it. So it IS labor.

Both of my parents worked when I was younger, my father made about 35-40k a year, and my mo, 25-30k a year.
Even with their yearly salaries put together they do not even come close to the100,000 dollar mark. It does not take an economist to see that their statement is illogical, nor me being young dismisses my statements, I know more then you think.

The bills, food, electricity, and her wants like jewelry are also paid for and given to her by her husband. Men were confined to the workplace, and the only ones sent off to die in the wars to preserve women's life and freedoms, and even now its men that are the majority of the war dead in Iraq.
So if I had to choose, between confined to and dong house doing housework or out in a battlefield praying that today would not be my last day, I prefer to be confined to my home. ;)

Put laundry in washer, put detergent inside with it, press start. Unload clothes when finished, put them in dryer, set time limit, press start. Unload and put away when finished.

For cleaning the floor plug in vacuum cleaner, push around house till finished, or even get a little robot that actually does it for you. For that, just set the robot down and press the power button, and it will do it for you.

If a woman decides HERSELF to leave the marriage and take the kids, the man is forced to pay her child support.
