Your right, it was a new computer and I tried installing XP but there were no drivers for the wireless, audio/video etc... for the Toshiba laptop. I even looked up part numbers on it to see if other manufacturers had XP drivers and nada.. So that's why I gave up.

You could have saved the investment on that Toshiba laptop by switching over to openSUSE 11.x, runs smoothly and lot of applications available for FREE (including office package). I recommend you to try openSUSE 11.x or kubuntu...both are smooth like silk!

No you have to choose the option to buy it. When you select the computer, on the next page you choose accessories and the remote is one of them.

I will pick it up in a third-party reseller. Gotta love student discount, because that store does it and saved me 200 bucks. Paperwork behind the store and some backlogging likely what made me wait almost two weeks. Frustrated? No, because my old clunker is still tolerable..well barely tolerable, because my fan has been making grinding noises for the past few months like it is ready to fall apart.
