I think Palestinians will agree to this formula if they're given a full-fledged state in Gaza and all of the West Bank, and if Palestinian refugees are allowed to return to the new Palestinian state. For those who lost their homes in what is now Israel, appropriate financial compensation is called for. Jerusalem should be shared between the two countries, and there should be an EU-like common economy and open borders between them. I think everyone would win in an arrangement of this sort.

The Palestinians relinquishing the right of return as it has been understood in the past? That's major!!
If this guy thinks he can secure Israel, by convincing the Palestinians to let bygones be bygones, then that's a bold step towards peace.
