@KapitanoStuff He says he is not your typical conservative. He supported libertarian Ron Paul in 1988 and 2008. As a libertarian myself, I agree government should be a last resort on many issues.
IME, most libertarians oppose government involvement in people's lives, but go vague about corporate involvement, and in practice support it. Ron and Rand Paul are the kind of libertarians who support whoever has power at the time - in other words, conservatives in a thin disguise.
@KapitanoStuff Yes I know they do. Rand Paul doesn't seem to like Obama though. Now I am a libertarian but I support gay rights across the board. hate crimes for gays, gay marriage, gay rights. And Tucker here is right, these conservatives are only using that platform for no gay rights to get votes from the Evangelical assholes.

Conservatice leaders have nothing but contempt for evangelicals because they blindly vote for Republicans. No Republican at a national level has ever made any progreses at attempting to get on the table things that evangelicals think are important. If evangelicals had any independent intelligence to think for themselves they would try and form a third party; they wouldn't get far, but they could get somebody elected. As it is they are sated with promises and chachkies, instead of results.

Guys, have some god damn dignity. And yeah, it'll be hilarious.
Despite the Christian messiah Bush's claim that "Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice..er, ...duh,..can't get fooled again", the one other sure thing in this world besides death and taxes is that you can fool Christians over and over again. And even when they catch you, all you have to do is ask for forgiveness, and start the process of fooling them all over again. :) It's worked for 2000 years and there's always a Swaggart or Bush around the corner to do it again.
I couldn't have said it better. One thing I will add is the hilarity of their constant threat of dissing the republican party if it doesn't show enough hatred for the gay community and "baby killers." My question is this: who the fuck else would pander to these pieces of shit?
They only recruited Sarah Palin for Vice President because the Fundies were threatening to not vote at all. They were the only real solid voting bloc that the Republicans had left.
Interesting to hear Tucker Carlson say this about the religous base of the Republican party, but the fact remains, he is still a shill for the Bush administrator and a snot nosed little fascist.

All religions and their popular denominations are power structures based on the pagan cultures they wiped out.
um, I fail to understand how you can even ask that question. You might question exactly who wrote the bible or the precise year in which it was written but there's have been countless texts including translations of christian scripture discovered that are much older than that. Also christianity has been a part of history for longer than that and you can read about that it pretty much every history book ever written.
"The Christian religion is a parody on the worship of the Sun in which they take a man called Christ, put him in place of the Sun, and pay him the adoration originally paid to the Sun."
I would not believe that so easily but it makes little difference to me. It would seem I jumped to conclusions in deciding you were atheist. I have no problem with deists. I get irritated by the arrogance and disrespect of atheists so I often try to knock some sense into them.
Deist would simply mean that you believe in god though would it not? it says nothing else about your beliefs
Yes, Deism propounds that a Creator created the universe and bound it together by universal laws, which men can discover for the benefit of humanity. Religion is fine but the great religious institutions are veiled oligarchies predicated on power, manipulation, and domination.
Go to Zeitgeistmovie _ com. The Film is entitled Zeitgeist.
It is absolutely the most important movie anyone will ever see in their life, and it explains what religions really are, how the world is run, who owns the Federal Reserve which prints our money, September 11th, international banking cartels, and more.
The most important part of the film is the part concerning the Federal Reserve Central Bank, which is a private bank, not Federal.
It is definitely not baseless. The Federal Reserve is owned by the Rothschild controlled Bank of England, and today Americans pay taxes to the Queen of England through the IRS. No joke.
Christian evangelists and Muslim extremists have one thing in common, they are undoubtedly the most spiritually sick and appallingly vile human beings alive. They feed their delusions and many lost followers with their own brand of immoral, corrupt, home grown teachings of wickedness and deceit. They call themselves "righteous" and say they're doing god's work and are filled with their own ignorance. They continually misguide others by quoting verses from a book (Bible) -- pure IGNORANCE.
I don't think that is what is meant by "the gay lifestyle" I think they mean the more general practices such as anal sex between two men. Evangelicals condemn this because of a passage in the old Test. Of course, the same area of the Bible says you can't wear two different kinds of threads and you must stone people that work on the Sabbath but for some reason they don't care about that.
"everbody in our world has contempt for the evangelicals" .... uhhhh how can he get away with saying that?? Christians are insulted and patronized by the media and no seems to care, but they are afraid to show Fitna which actually contains facts, and video footage. The double Standard people, look for it and you find it everywhere..
you can think that if you will, but if god suddenly appeared before you with fire and lightning everywhere and told you something in a booming voice you'd probably believe real quick despite any amount of evidence against.
Few people experience something so dramatic, but spiritual experiances of some sort are not rare at all. You won't be convincing many people with that.
No, interestingly it is not the same being, and they differ in character and temperment.

I wonder how long it will be before the evangelical, socially conservative electorite stops allowing the fiscally conservative, damn-the-torpedos wing of the party to determine the course. I foresee a schism in the near future - before 2012, at any rate.
I thought this was a secular country. If any one should feel scared or threatened it should be the 8 to 10 million muslims whom the evangelicals think are "violent and wicked." Freedom of religion? I hope we dont get freakin' lynched
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Joshua 1:8
This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have success.
He's right, that the evengelical leaders don't share thier values, so why don't they ask why the leaders are broadcasting the message!!!Carlson..not sure who he is but i'm going to check him out...
Agreed. Real Christian evangelicals will vote for Ron Paul to prevent secularists from passing legislation to remove their religious rights, and in turn the Church will have no basis to impose its beliefs on those who dissent resulting in backlash votes for leftist Democrats. Christians should watch this clip: /watch?v=fRruoNTnzvk
Tucker has always been cool, and always held the same views. If you find yourself warming up to the things he's saying, it's YOU who are changing, not him. He was fun to watch and listen to long before his support for Paul, he's the best conservative/liberatian pundit on television imo.
I'm not so sure Tucker is 100% right. Do these Republicans SERIOUSLY not hate the idea that gays are getting married and are just using it as a tool for reelection? Seriously?? They seem pretty genuine to me in their words.
I really dont think there are many politicians that really respect the people who vote for them. It's all about playing the polling percentages, the only reason they make issues about meaningless shit is because the people do. And the people are concerned with meaningless shit because big business owned media tells them too.
Absolutely. Tucker rocks. I wish I had his show here so I could watch it... omg. Youtube should have a Tucker Carlson channel where they just air his show here on youtube every day.
fact of the matter is that it is simpler to get the evangelical vote, they have clear beliefs, and have leaders that they follow zealously, if you appeal to these, you get their vote, other communities that are smaller and more diverse are much more complicated. the more evangelicals the better for future administrations to control the country
Thats funny. Democrats HATE African-Americans with a passion and only pander to them for votes. But since most Democrats hate Christians they feel the need to lie and spread false-hoods. Honestly Democrats, grow up and step into the real world.
Oh, please. Democrats do not hate african-americans. Knock it off with that nonsense that the GOP is the party of Christ, and learn the world isn't black and white.
There are hypocrites in both parties. Republicans claim to be Christians, yet that have countless scandals. Democrats walk around with Bibles and talk in Churches during elections, yet support homosexuality, abortion, and premarital sex.
Seems like a little more oxygen is reaching *ucker's brain now that he has removed the bow tie. Guess he decided it wasn't a good idea to dress like an evangelical tent show huckster while deriding the religous wingnut Republicans. I wonder why he didn't mention this manipulation of fundies for the last 6 yrs. Most of us knew this a long time ago.
"The wackos get their information through the Christian right, Christian radio, mail, the internet and telephone trees," Scanlon wrote in the memo, which was read into the public record at a hearing of the Senate Indian Affairs Committee. "Simply put, we want to bring out the wackos to vote against something and make sure the rest of the public lets the whole thing slip past them." Google "Abramoff-Scanlon School of Sleaze" for source.
Yeah, because it's magically impossible to lie about the sort of issues someone might be a bigot over.
I'll remember your infomative comments about bigotry the next time I see a Leftist painting their opponents as hatemongers for daring to disagree with their moral betters.
God, you're an idiot. I wish everyone just used your tactics for debate. Those tactics being, or course, post something pointless, make an insulting remark, and disappear. Well, I'm using them right now, so all is well!
Wow, thanks. In between your ad hominem attack and your wailing about how "pointless" and "insulting" it is for me to expose his ignorance and hypocrisy, I can be certain that you are an "intellectual." I'm sorry I "disappeared" - I don't live on YouTube. Thanks for admitting your own hypocrisy!
To expand slightly: 1.) Deception has a long shared history with bigotry. Look up the forgery known as the "Protocols of the Elders of Zion". When you're done, consider why it would be wrong for him to use a filthy stereotype about Christians while claiming to oppose bigotry.
Why don't evangelicals just write GOD on the ballot and put an X beside it?

Christianity is a celebration of the Sun.
Jesus Christ is the Sun in the age of Pisces, Ichthys, that delineated time according to the Gregorian Calendar. He died on the Winter Solstice, traveled around with Twelve Constellations of the ancient pagan Zodiac, die, and was reborn at the Vernal Equiox or Easter.
He is worshiped on Dies Solis, Sunday.
All religions and their popular denominations are power structures based on the pagan cultures they wiped out.

The practice of worshiping the Sun is the first and most ancient religion in human history, dating from well before 5,000 years ago.

but how is this even relevant and what does the sun god have to do with anything?
I suggest challenge atheism itself and you launch only a feeble attack on a few mainstream religions.
I'm not a fan of religion anyway. If you want to convince me you'll have to challenge theism and spirituality themselves.

It is mythology, all of it.
And I am not an Atheist, I am a Deist.

I wonder how long it will be before the evangelical, socially conservative electorite stops allowing the fiscally conservative, damn-the-torpedos wing of the party to determine the course. I foresee a schism in the near future - before 2012, at any rate.

Apparently Tucker has undergone some kind evolution since his days on crossfire... I like it.
qazwas2001 4 years ago 2
I thought this was a secular country. If any one should feel scared or threatened it should be the 8 to 10 million muslims whom the evangelicals think are "violent and wicked." Freedom of religion? I hope we dont get freakin' lynched

Joshua 1:8
This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have success.

The word of god is no longer written on paper but on your heart. (disregard Josh 1:8 and burn this book)

He's right, that the evengelical leaders don't share thier values, so why don't they ask why the leaders are broadcasting the message!!!Carlson..not sure who he is but i'm going to check him out...
hergen20 4 years ago
Carlson is on the money. This is just another in the long list of reasons to vote for Ron Paul. He DOES NOT PANDER.
coachkemp34 4 years ago

Who has ever threatened to take the religious rights of Christians away?

Professor Dawkins... I would rather listen to Professor Dawkins than these religious zealots.

Tucker has always been cool, and always held the same views. If you find yourself warming up to the things he's saying, it's YOU who are changing, not him. He was fun to watch and listen to long before his support for Paul, he's the best conservative/liberatian pundit on television imo.

Is it just me or is Tucker not sucking balls like he used to?

Even shakespear adressed in his plays the contempt and hate the rulling class has over the people they rule.

I'm not so sure Tucker is 100% right. Do these Republicans SERIOUSLY not hate the idea that gays are getting married and are just using it as a tool for reelection? Seriously?? They seem pretty genuine to me in their words.
Whoo69 4 years ago
I really dont think there are many politicians that really respect the people who vote for them. It's all about playing the polling percentages, the only reason they make issues about meaningless shit is because the people do. And the people are concerned with meaningless shit because big business owned media tells them too.

well said.
...we are so fucking doomed.

this appears to be the second occasion in my life where Tucker Carlson is absolutely correct.

it seems he's changing, becoming very slightly more realistic.

Absolutely. Tucker rocks. I wish I had his show here so I could watch it... omg. Youtube should have a Tucker Carlson channel where they just air his show here on youtube every day.

weird.

fact of the matter is that it is simpler to get the evangelical vote, they have clear beliefs, and have leaders that they follow zealously, if you appeal to these, you get their vote, other communities that are smaller and more diverse are much more complicated. the more evangelicals the better for future administrations to control the country

Thats funny. Democrats HATE African-Americans with a passion and only pander to them for votes. But since most Democrats hate Christians they feel the need to lie and spread false-hoods. Honestly Democrats, grow up and step into the real world.
Mile2020 4 years ago
I'll agree with Blacks but how are the Dems spreading falsehoods on evangelicals?
unknownunknowns 4 years ago
Oh, please. Democrats do not hate african-americans. Knock it off with that nonsense that the GOP is the party of Christ, and learn the world isn't black and white.
OriginalGuest 4 years ago 5
There are hypocrites in both parties. Republicans claim to be Christians, yet that have countless scandals. Democrats walk around with Bibles and talk in Churches during elections, yet support homosexuality, abortion, and premarital sex.
manidunknown 4 years ago
"Democrats do not hate african-americans."
well, perhaps to a small degree. It wouldn't surprise me if a lot of the powerful white dems were racist deep down.
They certainly have no qualms about using blacks for personal gain though.
Reps and christians or Dems and minorities are the same concept.

excellent. all this government shit sucks ass. i hope they all die!!!. and then leave me there wallets. :o)

course, without a government that money wouldn't be worth much.
unless you just want the paper?

You can't trick somebody into being a bigot. You can lay out the bait, but in the end, they are the ones to taking a bite.
ponyboy316 4 years ago 2
"You can't trick somebody into being a bigot."
Yeah, because it's magically impossible to lie about the sort of issues someone might be a bigot over.
I'll remember your infomative comments about bigotry the next time I see a Leftist painting their opponents as hatemongers for daring to disagree with their moral betters.
radtrad 4 years ago 2
God, you're an idiot. I wish everyone just used your tactics for debate. Those tactics being, or course, post something pointless, make an insulting remark, and disappear. Well, I'm using them right now, so all is well!
SalokinEnyap 4 years ago
Wow, thanks. In between your ad hominem attack and your wailing about how "pointless" and "insulting" it is for me to expose his ignorance and hypocrisy, I can be certain that you are an "intellectual." I'm sorry I "disappeared" - I don't live on YouTube. Thanks for admitting your own hypocrisy!
radtrad 4 years ago
To expand slightly: 1.) Deception has a long shared history with bigotry. Look up the forgery known as the "Protocols of the Elders of Zion". When you're done, consider why it would be wrong for him to use a filthy stereotype about Christians while claiming to oppose bigotry.
