I really like what they did with Xanatos as a character. So many cartoon villians are one-dimensional, but he's very complex and interesting. Moments like this, showcasing his love for Fox, make his transition from villian/enemy of the gargoyles to friend convincing, rather than jarringly OOC.
Whats with all the ducks? In an earlier episode Hudson is caught watching Donald Duck. In this episode we see a glimpse of Duck feet around 2 min mark. Must be Duck season LOL

Normally his plans involve tricking other people and hiding his real motive behind a fake one. This episode proves it; if Xanatos was a sociopath, he wouldn't have shown regret about Fox dying as a result of the Eye's powers. Hell, he probably would've tried to kill her to get the Eye back! And while Xanatos has done many cruel and unusual things to Elisa and the Gargoyles, he has yet to seriously try to kill them or Elisa's family (yes, Derik is now the family fuzzball, but he's not dead).
Okay, it wasnt until this episode when Fox turns into a hairy beast that i realize her weird-ass makeup was in the shape of a fox -,- every other time it just looked like a very badly drawn thunderbolt or something
it's interesting how people think elisa modified her dress when it really did just come like that, it's a bit obvious since she brought it the day before halloween and she sleeps during the day, there wouldn't even be time to modify it, besides that she's an adult she brought an adult size belle dress so having it where the bottom can be put easily on or taken off and having it so the body of the costume is formed as a one piece short skirt it's a bit obvious she brought it like that
Disney really did make a good connection using Belle's dress. Because of the fact that Goliath and his friends are looked on as monsters but only Elisa sees him as something more...very romantic.

One of my favourite episodes of season two! I could see this episode being really scary for kids, especially with the werewolf sounds! I love all of Golaith's lines in this episode, from "Not a Good Night for You" to "Let's just say I don't trust you with it." But my favourite audible sound is Xanatos' short high pitched scream: "AAH!"

@benji1701 Speaking of Jonathan Frakes, I can actually see only Xanatos when he speaks. I don't see Ryker at all. Usually when a famous actor/voice actor I know of voices someone else in something, I either picture the actor or I picture another character they've voiced. Mr. Frakes was the PERFECT choice for Xanatos. Heck, now that I think about it, he looks like Ryker when Ryker had scruff. Just with a ponytail. XD
I hope Elisa didn't rent that Belle costume. She'd have to pay a fine for losing part of it, since she used part of it to cover FOX after she turned back to normal. I doubt Xantos would bother to return it.

It's beautiful how this show can make characters appear so human. They're not all bad, all evil, maybe Demona is, and Goliath and Elisa are all good, but other than that, great work.

I hope Elisa didn't rent that Belle costume. She'd have to pay a fine for losing part of it, since she used part of it to cover FOX after she turned back to normal. I doubt Xantos would bother to return it.

It's beautiful how this show can make characters appear so human. They're not all bad, all evil, maybe Demona is, and Goliath and Elisa are all good, but other than that, great work.
