Fun facts: "Inu" is the japanese word for "dog", and "chan" is usually used at the end of girl's names and pets to mean endearment or affection (though i've seen it used on boys and young children too). The breed "shiba Inu" means "brushwood dog"..So your dog's name is..Dog-chan. Like in Dragonheart when Draco says "Stop calling me dragon!" so he gets named "Draco", which still means dragon..but in latin. lol

I have a husky who can do many advanced tricks and is a champ in obedience :D I may post a video teaching how to maintain a champion obedience dog because thats the contests people find most difficult.

I don't have any friends that plays Nintendogs as much as I do. I have try getting my puppy to like each other, but it seems that they don't like each other at all. Can your dog do obedience trials really well? My dogs are kinda retarted on that subject. I have a Siberian Husky named Ashley that loves to do Fresbee contest. The highest score to get on the Disc Competition so far is only 60 pts.! See if ya can beat that!

Lol, I have 2 versions of Nintendogs on my DS and they all have the same dogs, but you have to "unlock" the dogs in a different order.

How long have you had the nintendog?

I think for some tricks you have to spend a lot of time with them so they get used to you, and start to do new things that will give you the chance to click the little speaker and teach them the tricks.

It just takes a little time^^

actually:

"chan" can be used boys in some cases..

i.e: children, which was what I was pretty much referring this puppy as..

another time "chan" can be used for guys is between couples..

The only things that I've seen that are supposed to be unlocked are new breeds of dogs.

You go to the main menu and 'go out' for walks, for baths go to your item list and click the dog shampoo.. same with brushing, you just purchase the item and use it from your list..

btw, there are two kinds of stores..the discount ones are on walks, things are MUCH cheaper!!! but you have to build up your dogs stamina once you get going on walks.. if you need more help, let me know!
