ok after watching this the only thing i could manage to say is r u fucking serious? i know this was said in the comment by hollywoodsheen but i gotta say it again what fucking person signed off on a course u gotta run over fucking railroad tracks at high speed? then u go full speed down a long fucking straightaway only to pretty much stop completely into a really fucking narrow hairpin with no runoff?yea this was a great idea granted it gives the track character but honestly theres a limit to it
holy crap that looks so painful!! they should've at least tried to do what IRL's doing in baltimore, which is put thick plywood over the rails and pave over it temporarily.
Don't know why people hated this circuit. It was good, the racing was good some years, and the cars going over the railroad tracks is an awesome sight!!
champ car made so many poor choices over the years. who signed off on a street course that runs over railroad tracks, causing the cars to get launched a foot in the air? They tried too much to compete with indycar, and didn't focus enough on just growing their own series, thus leading to their demise.
It was okay, but certainly not comparable to Laguna Seca. The '07 race was interesting, eith Servia, Jani, and Doornbos swapping the lead often, but I'm looking forward to perhaps another Zanardi pass in the Laguna corkscrew. :)
I was replying to O5Fan not you. And if you're right I'll watch F1, GP2, ALMS, WTCC, BTCC, WRC, A1GP, Australian V8, ect. There is more racing out there than just the cars at Mindy.
the quick right left at san jose reminds me of the old long beach track. why do so many people hate the san jose track i think it was a good lttle track i mean the 07 race was awsome lots of overtaking.
Yes, yes CCWS will be dead, defunct, gone, history or whatever other verb you want to use. You've been saying this on most my videos and we all get it. I'm surprised you didn't say that the other series will be racing at San Jose since you say that too. Now please go away.
cool post champcar4ever. as much as i like the champ cars of today just think how awsome the 1999 raynards would have been at this track. if the drivers had any fillings they dont now.
Thank god they changed the whole track. The first year at San Jose was nuts, especially seeing those cars going over the rails. Don't you think those crapwagons would go completly airbourne while going over the rails?

Abysmal tracks are funny every so often. Like the 1984 Dallas GP track... fantastic race due to the terrible track layout...

First off they should have not given boredom the green cuz servia was not up there with him but that was awesome with the train tracks

Why would they have railings there first of all anyways? Very unsafe.

The rails were there before the racetrack.

Those are adjectives, not verbs.

You're right my bad.

Hence they ditched it for Laguna Seca next year.
