X-2 = FFX meets barbies. X was "okay" the ending was gut wrenching and left room for the only proper sequel. Too bad the sequel's battle system is best understood by a group of 6 year old girls. FF 7 is the only FF that was really riveting. The story had holes in it but that's what made it riveting, the ever constant quest to kill sephiroth, and find out WTF really happened between cloud sephiroth and Zack. Not just in nimbleheim but what led up to it, and details of the events there after.
