They made a remake with Channing Tatum. I watched the show as a kid, loved it. They had serious issues and developed characters. I like Tatum as an actor, but after seeing the trailer for the new movie I am convinsed that Hollywood thinks American youth has bumbed down. If this movie is a hit Hollywood is right. So sad.
This show WAS the 80's! The look, the feel, the attitude... The idea that a few strong street-smart 20-somethings was all it would take to fix the country! Great times! I will miss them!

In addition to your television career, he probably gave us a lot of wonderful television and fictional books that should live on for many years to come.
