As an American in 1988, I knew getting to the Expo was going to be a challenge as the light switches alone were giving me grief. "Down is "ON" and up is "OFF" said the hotel manager. After I complained a fuse must have "blown". Good thing I didn't use my international driver's license as I would have been bending metal at every circle. (round-about)
That lady was wearing a wing suit..... she could have flown to the Gold coast herself.....

The Golden Mile route reminds me of... Brisbane's modern CityCat, which roughly follows that route!
Even the Golden Mile ferries look like small CityCats!
