What a powerful team. The ultimate season that was not. They gave us another glimpse early in 96. I remember manager Ray Knight quipping after losing a game at the Big O, ' that team's batting lineup hits like the Big Red Machine of 75-76 '

Attendance at US ball parks were waning because the Jays had won the last 2 Series and here's now the Mtl Expos raring to keep that Flagged trophie in Canada. IMO, Cal Ripkin jr. games streak came to an end when MLB locked everybody out. Fuhqing sore losers...
