i was in elementary school when 9/11 happened i remember my dad running to the school to pick me and my brother up and when we got home my mom led us to the window and we watched smoke that covered buildings and then we never saw them again. Cell towers track the location of any cell phone via it's ID signal, that is why it is called a "cell" phone, as you leave and enter a cell you are handed off to different towers. When a cell phone goes above the tower it tends to broadcast to many towers at once, and in '05 the tech couldn't handle that and so the system would shut the call down. Bottom line, no calls were actually made from flight 93. Even today airliners have their own cell handler that rebroadcasts cell phones on board.

They were shooting a documentary about a brand new firefighter on the force. They had either just finished dealing with a fire or were about to go to a small fire (as back up). when they saw the plane hit they headed right to the WTC. I hope that helped.

@1108chuck I'm not from New York (or any of its burbs), but if it's anything like where I live here in Kansas City, it's not a normal day in any major city unless there's firefighters or police down there for some reason or another. And for a large area like NYC, on any given day there's probably atleast 10 or 20 fire/police assisted related incidents a day. So basically it seems rather normal for firefighters to be there the day it happened before it happened.

Chills still. I was 12 years old when I saw the second plane crash. Had just woken up and turned the tv on saw the first tower burning then that plane just flew right into the other tower. Complete shock. Went to school, my 7th grade teacher who was from new York was just bawling. In this time, there were atleast a hundred people still alive between the point of impact and terrace. What prevented the US military/rescue teams from landing Black Hawk helicopters(one at a time) and rescuing these people? The US is the only Superpower in the world and this equipment is taken for granted. Even if 2 lives were saved, it would have been well worth the effort.
@oper06 It could take hours to get black hawks to NYC, and the tower tops are strewn with cables and structures. Not to mention the smoke and debris. Also I haven't seen a single person on the roof of the towers in any of the videos I have ever watched of 9/11.

Cell towers track the location of any cell phone via it's ID signal, that is why it is called a "cell" phone, as you leave and enter a cell you are handed off to different towers. When a cell phone goes above the tower it tends to broadcast to many towers at once, and in '05 the tech couldn't handle that and so the system would shut the call down. Bottom line, no calls were actually made from flight 93. Even today airliners have their own cell handler that rebroadcasts cell phones on board.

Approximately 80 minutes later at 10:05am the North Tower collapsed. Here's where it gets weird, strangely enough, a BBC News broadcast that was live at 2:00am actually broadcast that the North Tower had already fallen. Now, London time is approximately 7 hours behind Eastern time in New York. That means that the BBC broadcast was an hour early.

I can't recall the name of it (if you really want to know message me and I'll go through my list of rented netflix films and find out) but I'm pretty sure that clip is from a documentary. They were shooting a documentary about a brand new firefighter on the force. They had either just finished dealing with a fire or were about to go to a small fire (as back up). when they saw the plane hit they headed right to the WTC. I hope that helped.

I'm guessing they allowed this to happen so they can wage war on iraq saying it was full of terrorists and weapons of mass destruction. In truth, they wanted oil and conquest. @1108chuck I'm not from New York (or any of its burbs), but if it's anything like where I live here in Kansas City, it's not a normal day in any major city unless there's firefighters or police down there for some reason or another. And for a large area like NYC, on any given day there's probably atleast 10 or 20 fire/police assisted related incidents a day. So basically it seems rather normal for firefighters to be there the day it happened before it happened.

Chills still. I was 12 years old when I saw the second plane crash. Had just woken up and turned the tv on saw the first tower burning then that plane just flew right into the other tower. Complete shock. Went to school, my 7th grade teacher who was from new York was just bawling. I just remember the emotions that day, and hopefully no country has to ever experience something like this again. Only the fucks who were responsible. Fuck you and your "God"

@SexyNaMan Will someone answer this question? It took approximately 40 minutes for the towers to collapse. In this time, there were atleast a hundred people still alive between the point of impact and terrace. What prevented the US military/rescue teams from landing Black Hawk helicopters(one at a time) and rescuing these people? The US is the only Superpower in the world and this equipment is taken for granted. Even if 2 lives were saved, it would have been well worth the effort.

@oper06 It could take hours to get black hawks to NYC, and the tower tops are strewn with cables and structures. Not to mention the smoke and debris. Also I haven't seen a single person on the roof of the towers in any of the videos I have ever watched of 9/11.

Just imagine if these attacks were thought out a little better. If they got it right, they could have hit all the financial hot spots in America. (Chicago, L.A., etc) - That and the White House (they almost did). Personally, The U.S. GOV. was 1 hit away from collapsing completely. Either way, 9/11 IS the most shocking thing I have ever seen in my life. And to think it could have (and almost was) a billion times worse.

@guhudaa, actually at the same time these planes were heading for the WTC, another WAS heading towards the White House. Thankfully though, the people on the plane took it back from the terrorists, and drove it away, but ended up dieing anyway
