In 2005 I made a Hollywood Holocaust map for Half Life 1 and 2, but I made it by myself, and it wasn't nearly as detailed. I had the architecture done right, but I was never good at doing custom textures. This level blows mine out of the water of course. You guys did such an amazing job, I am going to show this off to as many people as possible! Thank you for making this! I played Duke Nukem Forever and their official "Hollywood" map on that stinks compared to this one. Consider me a fan!

I can gauruntee that this level works in Half-Life2 - Deathmatch. It has been tested on more than 20 different pcs with varied configs before release.

@sErBaSoNiK Could you elaborate? We tested this level of loads of different pcs. What is not working for you - the obvious question would be are you running it in the right source game - if its not being run in HL2DM then you might get missing textures. Otherwise post your issue and ill take a look for you

You may be right at that point, but it's a nice piece of work. Played Duke for morths in a row including that stupid Washington add on. Even did some mapping. I know doing a custom map is hard work and. Right?

Damn.....I've been a huge Duke fan for a while and this was always by far my favorite level.

Over the years, there's been quite a few fan-made remakes on more modern game engines and in fact I'm in the process of rebuilding it for UE3.

That being said, this has to be the most well-done reimagining I ever could possibly imagine.

You've truly brought Duke Nukem into the year 2009- and with style, to boot.

A task 3D Realms has yet to achieve!!
