I don't think he is trying to say this is BB King's solo. This is what we musician's call BB's Box and he is improvising on the BB's Box scales and riff and doing a great job demonstrating it for people to learn. Obviously he added his own taste to use overdrive, compressor, or distortion and to play fast or slow. I say Great Job! Sounds Great, Keep up the good work and thank you.
Maybe it is just me, but when you slow it down, the notes don't match the frets you are playing on. I am not tech enough to figure it out, though I had seen videos that can slow it down and still be in tune.
Very good but turn off distortion pedal. Swing Blues it ´s almost played clean, sometimes with a bit "Overdrive", but almost clean on the first pick up. Yeah!
i like how you jump around with that major seven cord, I not familiar with that technique. well.. i guess its sort of like the Clapton slide but inverted.
Absolutely fantastic. I can definitely hear the BB King influence. The heck with the nay sayers and outright rude people, you did a fantastic job and I appreciate your contribution here. Thank you very much.
What a bunch of NEGATIVE dicks! This guy kills and probably plays better than your self...Just give credit where deserved and don't pick...Nice playing!
It didn't remind me of Stevie Ray Vaughan, and I consider that a good thing. This is what a good boogie solo should sound like. Spot-on rhythm, no technical frippery, makes you want to dance!
with this guitar you can play SRV or Buddy Guy style but not B.B. KIng. that's my opinion. Nice blues playing, but nobody in the universe plays like B.B. King. Greetings
I'm sorry, but that IS NOT the B.B King style. B.B King is much slower and gently sprinkles his blues tones. It's not always about speed, it's the quality. You actually made my ears hurt after a few minutes.
yeah, that didnt sound like the style of bb king. it was good but it was too much too fast. but it'd be better if you slowed it down a little more otherwise im going back and forth with the vid like crazy. also the slow motion sign blocked some of it.

I agree that it isn't one of B.B.'s solos.
B.B. uses light strings and plays slow with a clean sound. You played fast with a mild distortion and heavy strings like Stevie Vaughn
jojobomb 4 years ago 14
Im with you. That's not of the king.
