  • love this movie ....

    good job temple!

  • I really love this film. makes me think of autism from other perspetive.

  • Excellent movie, I borrowed the dvd to all my friends and they all liked it, too bad it was made for t.v. Clair Danes would have taken the Oscar for Best Actress...

  • I can't believe It! Ever Seen this this Movie in HD at M0viesFull.got.to Go and see what she's got!

  • It'z Unreal! My God! This Movie is Awesome! I just watched this M0VIE IN High Quality here at FullM0viez.stop.to G0 F0R it N0W! See link with pleasure!

  • Come on Claire... Temple was not born in the 60s. She was born in 1947. Surely you did your homework before shooting the movie.

  • @AggiePhill I know right...

  • @AggiePhill she probably just misspoke. temple was only seen as a child in the late 40's for a few scenes in the movie. most of the film does take place in the late 60's and 70's so it was easy for her to slip up.

  • Hello there, I want to buy this wonderful DVD on PAL region 2, is this possible please? Thank you! Julie Lines.

  • very inspiring movie...

  • é tudo muito espetacular

esse filme é esplendido adorei muito bom

  • Claire Danes deserves an Emmy for her performance!!! BRAVO!!!!!! ;D

  • Great film!

  • wow..fantastic..faboulous ..watched this in webmovietube

  • this movie is sooooo amazing you have to watch it

  • I just watched this movie a few weeks ago and also just found out, it kinda brought me in tears, the movie gave a lot of inspirations and especially for the youth, I don't have autism, but this kind of movie should be produced more!

  • DR. temple Grandin and this HBO movie has catapulted the focus of Autism.

  • DUDE. Temple Grandin was born in 1947. Not the 1960's. Really?

They got it wrong, and they're making a movie ABOUT HER LIFE?

Regardless, if you like this movie, you might like the documentary by the BBC "The Woman Who Thinks Like a Cow"

  • @wilsonsam2010 Yeah, it was silly for Danes to say that, but maybe it was a clumsy way of saying that Grandin *grew up* during the '60s, which is both true and a main focus of the film. In any case, the film is great and quite true to Grandin's life, even in her own opinion. :-)

  • @JoeBunch It's not Danes' fault for saying it - people make mistakes all the time. It's just surprising that no one producing this trailer caught the mistake. It's mostly just interesting, because the film producers went to such great pains to get the details of Grandin's life right. But perhaps when it comes to trailers like this, they just hand the job off to someone else - "Here, take these clips from the film, go interview some of the stars, and come back with a trailer, please".

  • One person needs to open their mind to people's differences.

  • I loved this film...it was so great.

  • Im Autistic, and I make cartoons :D

  • but dont we shoot a air gun into their brain when we feel like eating them?

  • She was born in 1947 ....

  • version française sur dailymotion: les surdoués de la créativité

titre( une affaire de sex 1/3)

ou chercher l'image de grandin et cliquer.

  • I have her book which is great!

  • brilliant movie

  • I'm a 14 year old child who has no autism. I once saw this film online, and throughout this film it shows the simple facts of how past situations still affect present time. I'm so happy when I saw this film, cause my brother as ADHD. I know he might not be the smartest person in his class, but at least I know he'll have a future with me by my side. I hope others learn from this film in not bullying some who weren't born as regular human beings. :/

  • My 3 year old son is Autistic and this really gives me hope that he will make it in this world. Thanks, Temple. And to Clair Danes, thank you for such a memorable performance.

  • its amazing to see this. people with learning differences can open up worlds if we try to see things their way instead of forcing them into our box. i have adhd and i know my brain could do amazing thngs if it wasn't forced to do things everyone else's way.

  • I watched this movie because I was interested in learning about Temple and her contributions. In short, this movie was one of the best I have ever seen. Claire Danes was simply outstanding and should be acknowledged. I have researched slaughter houses for a long time and disagree vehemently with other commenters that undermine the importance of humane slaughter. As Temple says, "human nature is cruel; we don't have to be". People need to see this movie.

  • I just loved watchig this extraordinary awsome film..I truly recommend ti a lot...

  • SO FUCKING FUNNY!!! XD

  • I LOVED THIS FILM IT WAS AWESOME AND IT REMINDED MY FAMILY ABOUT HOW I WAS AND STILL ARE I HOPE I GET TO MEET TEMPLE GRANDIN SOON THANKS AUTISTIC JASPER STEED FOUNDER OF AUTISM SMILES LLC

  • I went to the same boarding school that she went to(Hampshire Country School), and It's amusing that there's a Hollywood version of my old school out there.

  • One of the best movies I have ever seen from the cesspool of HBO, woulda never seen it if someone didn't recommend it. Unbelievable.

  • I've heard so many good things about this movie.

  • just saw the movie and a got to say this: do you when you are at a middle of a movie and you just dont want it to end?? outstanding movie and a amazing person..

  • The book comes first. Then I'll watch the movie.

  • Just watched the movie, Very good. My 13 year old has aspergers syndrome and i'm very greatful that movies like this can give me a glance into his unique sometimes complicated world. Take a look at it, You will be glad you did.

  • "my mind works like Google images"

    dang that takes skill

  • Temple Grandin was born in 1947.

She mentions being brought up in the 50's quite often.

  • An EXCELLENT portrayal of a fascinating woman.

  • Claire Danes was exceptional. As was Julia Ortez and Katherine O'Hara. This movie really moved me.

inspiring for not just people with autism and those affected by it, but also for anyone who feels separate from the social norms.

  • I have no patience for autists at all, I'm not calling them anything horrible or something like that but i really just can't have a conversation with them.

  • @TheScaryDo0r

    You're an idiot.

  • I can't wait to see it!!!

  • Thank you dear Eutuvex for this share.

The keys are: love and respect, the certainty that every single one is a special being with his special characteristics. We are not robots.

    Pios

  • humane then slaughter, lol.

  • its so sad that doctors have to labela and people ive watched a lot o doc on autisam.and it fasinats me..a lot of you are so smart ,its great.must depends on your parents too though on how they treat you..great film,

  • Cheers to Claire Danes and all the winners from Temple Grandin ,.....

  • Una película Excelente, Increíble!!!!!

  • My son is also highly functioning autistic. He is socially awkward, however, he is brilliant. It is my opinion that popular opinion and brilliance are two very different things.

  • Remarkable. My son is also highly functioning autistic. Socially impaired? Yes. Brilliant. Fuck Yes!

  • I am an animal rights activist & a friend told me about this film. It is an amazing movie! It brought tears to my eyes... good tears. This woman is amazing! My heroe!

    Blanca

    NJ, USA

  • Despite the assertions of actors and producers in this movie about the humane way in which the animals were treated, there's no changing the fact that this is a film that attempts to edify a person who's merely found a better way to kill animals and bring them to our dinner plates. Despite her (dis)ability, one can't help but feel that there are more noble heroes out there for us to celebrate.

  • @cdyexhibit Nature is cruel; everything that humans do on this world will negatively affect our surroundings. What else do you expect us to do? Make ourselves extinct? We build our homes on animals' habitat -- they still die off indirectly even if you swear not to eat a cow for the rest of your life. We kill off plants to make clothes and other products. How is that different from killing animals? All we can do is minimize the damage; and that's the POINT of the movie.

  • I also have Autism, but mine isn't as severely worse as those to others who are severely autistic . I just watch this movie today. And when I saw what this amazing women can do, I feel like anybody, if it's a child or an adult can do the same thing Temple Grandin did in her life. I admire this women. This movie should win the Emmys this year.

  • claire danes-> genius in this!

  • i like her, though i do not have autism disease :-)

  • @syachk Autism is not a disease; it's a developmental disorder, or a different type of brain wiring. It can't be cured, but people with it can learn to function in society and all. Besides, in some areas it's more of an ability than a disability.

  • this is awesome!

  • The movie is way more appealing that Temple in person but that's Hollywood.

  • I watched this film almost 5 times in a day in half.Just amazing I've known about Temple Grandin for years due to her books and a Errol Morris Documentry. She is a wonder a visionary and a genius. This film is heads and shoulders over the best biopic.Claire Daines nailed it with her performance.I wrote in my journal"There was a door and I walked through it" anytime I wan't to chicken shit out I tell myself this. See this film its a feel good without the cheese.

  • A MUST see! I laughed and cried threw the whole movie. So touching and wonderful. Its just amazing how Temple was able to accomplish so much!

  • does anyone know if you can download this clip to a power point presentation

  • It's a amazing FILM! watched it over and over and over!

  • this is an amazing movie A MUST SEE in my opinion

  • i cant believe claire danes did this so well

  • Temple Grandin (born August 29, 1947) - why would they say she was born in the 60s? She was a teen, young adult in the 60s. Looks like a great movie of an amazing woman.

  • @sassikatt Slip of the tongue?

  • she's a genius!

  • The only thing wrong with the movie is that they mention dr.dolittle in the movie and its during the 1970s although the movie is masterpiece and it can make you cry...

  • @downey77774 The book was written in 1920. Rex Harrison starred in the movie "Dr. Doolittle" in 1967.

  • @downey77774 Doctor Dolittle came out in the 20s/

  • No, Claire, Temple was born in 1947, not the 60's

  • Not yet I don't think.

  • hey is this movie on DVD? i really want it

  • I have Autism and I appreciate this film. Temple reminds me of myself when I was young except not as severe. I have improved over my life though and so did temple.

  • I'm sure this is an amazing movie, but I am still waiting for HBO or anyone in Hollywood to do a movie about autistic children who are severe, as in my son 's case. You can see his videos on this channel and kgaccount channel. That said, good for you HBO for doing this movie, I hope it's succesful...but it is another reminder of how little Hollywood understands the entire "spectrum" which has obvioulsy expanded to something beyond autism...

  • Beautiful story! The actors were phenomenal in this movie! If you want to see a movie right now, you should see this one. I absolutely loved it!

  • Excelent movie!!! I saw it Sunday night just by searching ramdombly for something to watch and ended up with this awesome jewel... I loved it... I defenetly recomend it. You'll learn so much from it!!! :)

  • I am Autistic spectrum too. Man I wish that I had HBO to see that movie. Temple is so amazing!!

  • you MUST see this film: just amazing...

  • I have two sons with Autism. Temple Grandin is truly one of my heroes. What's more I'm blown away by the portrayal that Claire Daines gives here. I'm ticked that I don't have HBO, but I'll be waiting for this to come out on DVD. And I have no doubt it will. Bravo.

  • YAY, i came out in this haha neat to see urself on TV

  • Miss Danes gives an Oscar winning performance in this great film .
