Legally the fathers have to support the child until he or she is 18 but that isnt always the case sonce most of them deny being the father. A lot of mothers also dont want to have the father's help but that is another matter.
As for the rape thing, there are still discussions about the legal age of consent but most popular beliefs is that its only considered satutory rape if its untder 16.

I was aware of my choices when I decided to do what ive done, I agreed with my self before I did any acts. I might possibly be expecting now at a young age. I understand this will be hard for me to raise a child at a young age. I did not do the acts to feel loved or to feel like an adult. i'm 3 months away from having a beautiful little boy. i'm 16. i got straight As when i went to school and i'm doing a diploma in biology next year and then going on to do neonatal midwifery. i'm from england, we have a much worse name for teen mothers. however, every one of my friends that has a child is an amazing parent. i think it's wrong that we're thought of as so low. i have much more respect for the teen girls that kept their babies than the ones who heartlessly aborted them.
