Now, the real question is: "Is hare male or female?" I can't tell, because he dresses like a little boy, but his/her voice is done by a lady.

Somebody on a different episode pointed out that when Wolf was looking for Hare and spotted him, he said "he" in Russian, which I guess equates to "there he is" in English. So Hare is a guy. :)

"заяц" (hare) is a male word itself in Russian, so it "он" (he) migtht just refer to the hare.
