I wasn't allowed to watch it when I was 7. In fact, it was on the blacklists of the local schools in my area- we weren't allowed to mention it, make references to it, ect. Now that I'm 18 and my parents don't give a crap anymore, I'm finally getting into it. xD Beetlejuice is the fecking bomb!

Wow, that sucks. I was seven when it first came out and I actually did some kind of project with Beetlejuice as the theme in third grade. It was one of the big shows EVERYBODY watched on Saturday morning, but I live near Seattle so that kind of thing was pretty normal. XD

The warlock is voiced by the same actor who played Bully the Crud in "Pest O' the West" and the monster from "Beauty and the Beetle". Listen to his "Where?" at 6:47 and his pained voice at 7:03. That's the same SFX that played whenever Lyds got Bully with the camera flash.

Curiously, BJ doesn't know who Elvis is in a later episode.
