  • it's too fast i think it's better to play this piece slow and emotionally in my opinion

  • For the record, Glenn Gould plays this at exactly the same tempo !

  • a little bit to fast, but great!!!

  • :\ i only learned 1/3 of this song and then i lost the sheet music T_T

  • @geckoman07

    imslp.org might just help :D

  • @bassmajor Really? Thanks :D

  • i played this piece and i can't play that fast!

  • @minijimin fastest doesn't mean it is the best ;)

  • I would say this is very rushed, I play it at an adagio/andante tempo, I feel this piece to be deep, not fast.

  • i have played this too and..wow thatts great!

  • great!!

  • wow you're great !!

  • very nice!

  • It is, as it always is, a very good performance.

I really like how you play, wish I was as good:)

  • I like very much this invention, but I always thought it was played toooooooo fast. I don't know why Bach wanted to play so quickly.

I think you have very great feelings if you play it more slowy : you notice in this case that all successions of the notes sound .... deeply perfect :)

  • very good ;)

  • I don't like tgis invention... but you play very well the piano!!

  • That's way too fast. Music is more than play like this, because you need to have the feeling. You can play faster and faster, but if you don't have the feeling, it just doesn't work that much.

  • That depends on the feeling, This is an allegro, so you must enjoy playing, and spectators must enjoy the rhytmand get happy.

This is one of my favourite versions, very good playing ;D.

  • how is this an allegro? I have the unedited (urtext) version and there are no tempo marks..

You must mean that "in the edition made by Ferrucio Busoni" this in an allegro.

  • Wow.....great..! Glenn and Bach will be happy listening to this.

  • I think it should be a bit slower.

With it this fast, it doesn't really give you time to enjoy it.

  • The speed is fine. Listen to Glenn Gould's version

  • ...the trills were pretty amazing, i always screw those up.

  • What ? Are you going to play everyone of these ... Perfectly? So that's it ? Sheeesh!

  • damn good

  • Very good. 5/5!

  • HOOOLY CRUUUUUD!! I can't even keep tempo! Dang! You're really good, seriously! Dynamics might help though, but dang! the tempo is really fast and steady!

  • There isn't supposed to be dynamics, because these pieces were originally written for the harpsichord, and in Bach's time, the harpsichords had no dynamic ability.

  • Should we have reminded Glenn Gould to play with no dynamics because this is not how it's supposed to be? :)

  • That's not what I am saying. I am saying that people shouldn't complain about the dynamics because there aren't supposed to be any. I don't even like Gould's recordings of the inventions. Gould can play what Gould wants, but I don't have to like it.

  • less than 45 seconds.....damn that's fast.

  • i just finished this.. but i need your tempo and grace on the keys .. ur playing really will influence how i play this piece.. sorta like gauld.. but better.

  • 5/5!!!

  • very proffesional!

  • NICE!

  • you rawk buddy.

  • perfect, fast, and to the point. thanks.

  • Dynamics? This is Bach. 5/5

  • You have very good technique! Your fingering is flawless and you keep it very legato.

but, I think you could use a little more dynamics.

    keep making those videos! :)
