So many days have passed since I used CrossOver... And if I could play in a 2008 MacBook with an old version of the program... I think now it must be better to play ^^

@alphex1000 If you have the game on steam (as I do) it is extremely easy.

1) Download and install the last version of CrossOverGames

2) Create a new bottle

3) Go to install software and select "install steam from web".

Then, you only have to download your games from steam as always ^^

i got dark crusade and soulstorm working on both snow leopard and mac os x my only question would be if there is a way to patch the games on a mac, i figured out how to mod them tho :3

@jackafa92 well, i managed to get it to work using the torrent on pirate bay, youll need a torrent downloader, for mac i reccomend utorrent, if you search pirate bay for "mac soulstorm" you should find it. to mod it you need to right click the app and click show contents, then you shouldfind the original folder as it is on windows and thats how you mod it.

@YouWarhammer the torrent is like frozen and doesnt download, im using utorrent and i aslo tried vuze. which one should i use. or maybe the torrent is damaged cause it doesnt move

@jackafa92 always check the seeds/leeches, only take torrents that have about 30% more seeds than leeches.

@jackafa92 hey, id love to, but i just checked the version i download now has too few seeds to download, ill seed as much as I can so there are too things i can reccomend u 2 do: 1 wait and check back on tpb to see if the seeds go up((btw just search for "soulstorm cider" thats the one i dled) or possibility nr. 2: go on google and see if you can find a soulstorm cider version on a other torrent site, sorry i cant help more.

@YouWarhammer i cant find for soulstorm, it seems that the dark crusade is more popular for the mac. i deleted the soulstorm one cause it was taking too long. if dark crusade doesnt work then ill buy the retail game disc and play it using parallels

I have not tried it on Snow Leopard, but in Leopard it run perfectly. And if you have a better mac, maybe a macBook unibody you could also put better graphics options (I have a "white" macbook with an intel

GMA X3100 and i run it at 1280x800 but everithing low)

And if you use steam games like me it's perfect! Because you only have to install CrossOver Games, and you have in the program a option called something like "install Steam by downloading"

You click that option and only have to wait. Then install any game like always in steam: double-click and wait to download. Nothing more ^^.

I also used it in Ubuntu, with an AMD6000 x2 and 8800GTX, everithing hight in this case

Dawn of war a secas, DoW Winter Assault, DoW Darck Crusade y DoW Soulstorm.

Y luego el 2, claro está. Aunque no es estrategia como los demás, de construir edificios, mejorarlos y tal, sino más bien es táctico.

Dudo que ahora te sirva de algo la respuesta... (esto pasa por no hacerle caso al perfil de youtube...) instalé Steam, y como lo tengo en Steam pues desde ahí como en windows, doble clic y se descarga e instala solito sin tener que hacer nada. Un lujo.
