when he says "i never want to be alone" i just saw that scene from Sherlock with Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman at the resurant in A Study In Pink.
@pupppenguin "Per Cristum Dominum nostrum" Is a conclusion of a christian prayer, in latin of course, it means: "for Christ, our Lord". Thankyou, Mikado Okami, for posting this wonderful movie. Greetings from Italy!
@spagerbot Movies almost always suck compared to the books. In fact, literally the only time when the movies was better than the book was with Mario Puzo's "The Godfather."
@chazzout It's a great effect, too. It stands up even after a quarter of a century. I found it suitably terrifying the first time I saw it and it still sends chills down my spine when I see it now.
@chazzout I don't know if it was the first but I will point to this as the way in which computer graphics should be used in film. They didn't try to push the technology beyond what it was capable of depicting realistically. That and they used it sparingly.
Actually, as I assume this is Oxford or Cambridge University (I forget which one) that Sherlock and Watson are at school at, she's already said she based the Hogwarts a little on either school if I remember rightly, and they even filmed there on some occasions. ^^
@FantasmaLuna He reminds me of a young Tom Riddle, teaching a DADA class. The disregard for his students, allowing them to get hurt in his class, is very much of apiece with Riddle's contempt for humanity--one reason why he was refused the position when he applied for it.
funny thing is...dudley has the same name has one of the most annoying characters in harrypotter yet...acts like one of the bad guys from the movie o.O strange

In the age of Avatar, I still think the stained glass knight is one of the most impressive things ever put on screen.

if they make a sequel, they should hire Nick Jonas to be Sherlock.
