What this explanation ignores however, is the credit that musicians deserve for making Roland's analog history a success in the first place. It was not Roland's philosophy of acoustic reality that made the Roland name a success, but it was the musicians use of ANALOG sounds that made Jupiter 8 a success. Musician who are interested in synthesizers are usually interested in NON-natural NON-realistic sounds. Thats what made the Original Analog Jupiter 8 a success. Not Roland's acoustic philosophy.
