good movie, not sad enough to make me cry, was sad though. she really changed since the beginning and i was happy for her, too bad she had to die. i was hoping she would live but if she had she probably would have went to jail. and justin's story about his unconscious mind following annie, guiding her to find his body, would have landed him in a mental instituion. awesome movie!

Personally, I think the beautiful thing about this movie is that Nick did hate Annie after she did all those things, but throughout the movie he was able to see how broken she really was and how she was changing. At the end, even though she had changed and was a different person than the beginning, she still had to live with the consequences of all of her actions. Excellent movie.

I really like the song with this vid - it captures what was so interesting about the film: What if these two people had bothered to get to know one another before this tragedy? It's a strange kind of Romeo/Juliet story, since the only thing keeping them apart before Annie attacked Nick was their own stubborn pride. I think this vid captures that tragic aspect of how much they do come to love another, when it's too late.

I didn't like how annie was in the beginning, but when they showed her home life, and how good she was towards her brother, I had a little sympathy for her. I didn't want her character to die, I wanted her and Nick to be a couple at the end. In real life they would make a nice couple.
