An easy way I found to make TONS of money is to make the Flintlocke's Woodchuckers. I made 40 buying mats of the Ah, and every day first thing i would put them up for about 500g each (5 stacks of 1) and than the next day I would have sold 2/3.

There's actually a pretty good way of making gold with Engineering. Check if you have the ability to make a Zapthrottle Mote Extractor. If not, there's a quest in Telredor, Zangarmash to get it. Make the Extractor and head to Nagrand. The Extractor tracks mote clouds, so fly around until you see one on your minimap. Go to it and use your Extractor. You'll get some Motes of Air. After flying around for awhile you should have a good amount. Turn them into Primal Air & sell them to the AH.

@koolme25 On my server, one Primal Air sells for around 100-200 gold. If you farm for 30 minutes or maybe even less, you can make 1000 gold worth of Primal Airs.

Tarou, you should really have mentioned Engi's raid utility and convenience; Porting to northrend, to gadgetstan or everlook; the mailbox and portable bank/repair with jeeves. Goblin BBQ's; the starting gear and tinkers are also fairly good.

I super undercut Potion of the Tol'vir on my servers. They are currently going for about 800g a stack which is ridiculous. So I make sure to undercut the mat required to produce said potion which ends up being about 250g a stack of Tol'vir So I'm selling for 550g under the lowest Tol'vir in my auction house. See I could sell them for slightly cheaper than 800g sure but 800 is so crazy people will check mats out first. Then I lose customer base. Sometimes it's good to super undercut.

super undercutting is always dumb,you could achieve the same thing by undercutting by 200-300 g (and even that is crazy)

@mikiarca Ok. I guess what you guys are failing to understand is this. 800g for a stack of 20 Potion of the Tol'vir. It normally goes for about 300g. So even undercutting it to 500g it's still out of it's normal price range. When you see something that overpriced what do you do? CHECK THE MATS!! If buying all the mats and having it made is half the price of what somebody is selling it for what do you do? I believe you buy the mats and have it made.

You tell me which method works better then.

People check for mat cost,but they don't care that much.

Now raiders have money,they are going to buy overpriced potions if that means 10 minutes less of their time.

If you are the lower seller,you will always sell everything fast but guess why you sell stuff so quickly,probably because someone buys yours and flips them.

They are going to wait a week maybe,but they are going to make more money than you with half the effort.

If you want a lot of money,you need to be patient

But the only person that you would fool with that would be somebody who shouldn't probably be buying the potion in the first place, but because I'm doing it the way I was doing it I have a direct buyer lined up for all future potion sells including Golemblood and Volcanic potions as well with a top world 500 guild because my prices are fair and normal. I made 20k yesterday alone from that.

@mikiarca With a loyal buyer comes good word of mouth reviews and already I'm getting requests from other guilds if I can be their herb farmer to make potions for them. So sure I could have waited a week and sold my pots at unfair prices and made more short term money but I wouldn't have a stream of loyal buyers from putting potions up at fair prices and all those potions that have been "flipped" aren't selling because the big potion buyers aren't buying them.

I used to make so much with engineering, i would buy all the mats up cheap for the hunter bow/gun scopes and then craft them and resell for pretty much triple what i paid, there was so many miners and players flooding the ah with mats and hardly any hunter scopes on the ah and after scanning the ah for a week i worked the price to be pretty much 400g a scope and making nice money, until the new scope came out this was easy few thousand gold a day for so little work. also hunter ammo was good.
