the rolex 3135 was made in 1988, back then the submariner date was less than 2000$

now 23 years later, same movement, but over 8000$

Submariner is a nice time piece. I got this for xmas and the Omega Seamaster Chonograph automatic. I like them both but hardly wear the rolex.

@JamaciaMohn - It's a diving watch, so the idea is that it's easier to read the big numbers on the bezel while under water. So to time yourself, you'd put the arrow on your minute hand's position, and then whenever you looked back at it, you could tell how long you've been down simply by reading where the hand is pointed.

The improvements here got nothing on the number or quality of the improvements done on the 2010 model. I'd still buy one of these though for the silver/black/silver color design and overall streamlined shape - they're just too cool for words.

They are not fakes, both are nice watches. I have the 14060M , the new model has the SCOC certification on the face , I prefer without the date cyclops, gives it a cleaner face, more of a classic submariner look.

I do agree with the other comment though, you've done a comparison, not a review....and a silent comparison at that.
