I'm in this show at the moment and I have to be honest this is one of the best versions i've seen. All in tune and up to the right speed. There's some people on youtube who have attempted this and failed missrably :) Well done .
@SecondBananaAddams -- Totally agree.. of course he does! .. there is no disputing that -- there is only one Nathan Lane and he clearly owns this role, as he does with many others. He is a professional and I am only an amateur just trying to have a bit of fun escaping from reality once in awhile. It would be foolish to try and compete or compare myself to him.
good god that was hilarious. i'm doing a high school focus program that revolves around theatre and i do just a lip synch to this song to get myself loosened up. i tried singing along, but my god, i lost my breath.

sorry for the delay----For an actor, this is one of the most challanging #'s/roles to perform. Suggestions: there is no time to think about anything, so you must study the situation. It's a cliche, but stay focused and just do it! As you rehearse and live the role, the song will be get easier and instinctively it will just happen.
Also, listen to a recording daily as much as you can. At the beginning, it was nothing for me to practice and listen to it 10 times a day. Good Luck!
um anyone notice after the intermisson part he got a boner. i was trying to read the text and got severly disturbed.
