i like how the cops in america always start shooting first haha. as soon as they turn to run, the six-shooters come out. it happened a couple of episodes ago as well.
They are actually discharging their firearms? Those policemen are positively psychotic! Shooting someone for impersonating a Duke is a far more heinous crime than impersonating a Duke.
Jeeves Reaction on the shots are amazing, everybody is flinching and running and ducking but he is just leaning backwards and calmly walking up the stairs. XD A true gentlemen's gentlemen never looses his countenance.
I will have to refrain from quoting every single line I want to quote from this amazing episode, definitly one of my favourites so far, I also think I could watch them without sound, just to look at stephen fry's and hugh laurie's faces! also, piano!
This episode puts me in mind of Charley's Aunt" a comic play which has similar elements in it - aristocratic fathers, estranged aunts and lots of complex bluffing. They're both brilliant!
This episode puts me very much in mind of the comic play "Charley's Aunt" which also features a posh aristocratic father, an estranged aunt and lots of complex bluffing. They're both brilliant!
I wish it was possible to directly introduce Fry and Laurie into my bloodstream. Also, it might sound weird, but I love hearing British people doing American accents. Anybody else? Or am I just a lone nut?
They seem to move in sync alot too. That is not to say that Jeeves is not the brains of the situation as he always is, but there is a unity between them. I must say, Stephen and Hugh are a great duo.
The bit at the end. jeeves and wooster? or fry and laurie? which ever it is,they'r so perfect words fail me. I think i might shed a tear!

This episode is undoubtedly my favorite! Jeeves is such a muffin.
I didn't think I would find a female character I despise more than Stiffy, but hellooo Aunt Isobel.

By no means. Shooting Duke is merely a means to another Duke. Impersonating a Duke is a threat to the order of things.

In previous episodes, it was Bertie's silly schemes that went awry, but this time, all the ideas were Jeeves'. (Is Jeeves faltering?)

Why is it the god damn police shoot at every little crime?
Also, I've noticed, my dog rolls his eyes the same exact way Jeeves does.
